Hmmm, it's not Friday in Monaco yet though

Anyone know why they have free practice on Thursday in Monaco, then nothing on Friday, before quali on Saturday?

Good to see Webber hanging in the top 10 in both sessions despite the fact that the RBR's had hydraulic problems. Hopefully they can sort the car so he can put in a good performance in qualifying and get towards the front of the grid for the race.

yeah i know i saw that Friday bit too... but i just ripped the title from ITV, so forward you complaint to them

Its an old school tradition that practice be on Thursday. Considering how much the FIA overlook when it comes to Monaco, im not surprised they let this continue aswell

Pitpass.com is probably my favorite site for F1 editorials... i mightnot understand all the words but the stories are all very very well written and not afraid to ruffle some feathers. The latest installment is a ripper

A Message From Melbourne

Link doesn't seem to be working?

Fisichella bins it, Schumacher bins it, Sutil bins it, Davidson bins it, Coulthard bins it and Hamilton bins it......

Monaco bites!!! Good to see Webber has pace, that hydraulic issue it a bit of a worry though....will be interesting to see how Hamilton recovers. Especially as he was saying he wants pole.

..is a hack. Too bust getting drunk at the strippers. He clipped a wall in Q2 and had to retire. It will be a test to see how easily his cage gets rattled. Ferrari beign Ferrari it wont be hard to imagine that the team forget about Kimi to keep Massa up with the Mclarens

Monaco Grand Prix: Winners & Losers

However Mark didn't beat James Allen's excitement at seeing Robert Kubica in between the two McLaren drivers after their final pit-stops. It was Murray Walker at his best and almost as good as the time they mistook Pedro de la Rosa for Juan Montoya at the Italian GP. (A gaffe that was re-recorded for the highlights programme).

Kubica was an entire lap behind the McLarens at the time, "This could be interesting Robert Kubica's between the two McLarens and he doesn't have to stop!"

Yeah, right, and Sato's in front of them both

boring race. maclaren smashed them lapping everyone up to 4th. massa was a long way back and the rest... well the rest were at least a lap down. webber's car broke again and kimi was buried down the order and couldn't seem to pass anyone. oh, and thanks a bunch channel ten for delaying the telecast so you can rip off halfwits who text in for your fking big brother quiz. arseholes.

    • Robertson was a Canadian inventor, and it absolutely reigns supreme here. 95% of our screws are Roberston. It's literally the only option you can buy off store shelves. What would it have lost out too? I believe it's also very popular in the US.  My reference to imperial was pointed to both NPT and BSP.
    • No. BSP lost to the cultural/technical imperialism of living next to Trumpistan. Face it, Robertson screws were better and still pretty much lost out to the yank stuff. The Europeans hate the Brits and they don't use NPT. NPT is just as "imperial" as BSP is, being based on those useless inch thingos. Just done differently.
    • I live in Quebec. Our license plate slogan is "Je me souviens" Translated is "We will remember" as a reminder to when England conquered us and that we must never forget what they did. Long story short, BSP is unheard of here due to being an English design. I'm surprised our nazi anti english government office the OQLF hasn't kicked in my door yet just talking about it, yet alone imperial anything.
    • Thanks for that! I did a quick Google search looked up some of hydaulic stores and didn't see it listed on the website, I'll give them a ring. Also found out later that I can buy 2 oem bleeder bolts for 10 bux and come with the washer which I might do so I don't waste the money it costs in petrol to find 2 washers (already did that lol). The old copper washes look in good nick, I drove it after taking it off and putting it back on and didn't see any  Part number here for reference if anyone needs: 14053-42L0A
