this is why i have no sympathy for people who get booked for speeding and blame someone else

i do feel for the girl in this case, cause what she now has to deal with is a lot worse than a ticket and lost points

correct me if im wrong, but I dont see how the female is going to cop anything bad considering she was the passanger of the car.

The police may question her in regards to what the driver was doing at the time but i dont see how she would be coppin the fines/tickets as she wasn't behind the wheel.

but yeh, she will have a lot to now deal with, with the death of a friend or a family member from this accident.

maybe we shouldnt jump to conclusions about how this guy crashed...although it probably was speed, there are a million other things that could have happend. Bottom line dont speed unless your willing to accept the consequences. There are millions of people that speed everyday way over the limit and never crash so there was a reason that he crashed and I doubt it was all speeding, probably more so a combination of things such as speed, roads, experience, stupidity or something else. Speed doesnt kill its the people that cant handle the speed.

Having said that RIP and condolences to anyone involved.

I was looking for more info on this crash....

apparently last night another guy died in a white silvia near Anzac Ave...

and today this one???

i really cant find to much on the story....

I blame the police!!

Obviously another victim of unjust persecution...the results of the MAN trying to keep a brother down...ect...ect

 for the famlies involved..but what else would you expect to see as the result of 180kph in a 60kph zone, I'm just glad noone outside of the vehicle was harmed.

if that story is accurate, which it appears to be, it answers alot of questions...drunk, not her car (probably not used to driving it), and speed....worst thing in this case would appear to have been the drinking, if she wasnt drinking she probably wouldn't have been doing 180kmph in a situation which she had no chance of controlling. Shes going to get smashed because of this too, because the police will use it as a PR opportunity and its going to get maximum press!

you blame the police for this?

Believe me im no fan of the boys in blue at the moment but I dont see how there to blame here....

Did the first part of my post read as serious or sarcastic to you....maybe the wink at the end might be a hint.. I dunno

It was a sarcastic poke @ all the tools that blame the popo every time they get done for defects, speeding ect.

    • If you want to do the wiring, the GTT engine ecu has the same pinouts extra that the seperate TCM in the NA car has. You can literally grab the wires/pins that lead into the Seperate TCM and wire them into the corresponding pins in the GTT Engine ECU. You could then in theory Nistune it. I realised this when everyone put it in the too hard basket and I actually looked at the f**kin R34 manual. This is after I had previously had a seperate aftermarket TCM controller in my original N/A chassis car and a very built gearbox from a GTT, running a seperate Haltech engine ECU. I ran into this issue when I re-shelled the car into a GTT shell, so my aftermarket TCM was no longer plug and play, because the loom/modules were not present. I was pretty livid when realizing just how simple the original fix actually was. It sat for 3+ years at various workshops trying to find a solution. In practice none of this is a worthwhile idea for a lot of reasons, generally surrounding the shitness of the NA auto, the autos in general that come with skylines, and the NA engine and lack of gains. The gearbox is specced for the 2.5L N/A and barely at that level. If you have to pay anyone any money to do any of this, that is money spent on manualizing the car and it's not even close in terms of a comparison. Learning to drive manual is simpler than going through the pain of dealing with the N/A gearbox and he'll have fun to boot.
    • Semi-correction to my blanket statement that you can't bend rubber hoses. It seems that you can get most of a result, by doing as this guy does. I wouldn't promise that the bends will stay in the hose forever. I think if I found they wouldn't stay, I'd get a larger hose and cut some 90°s out to go over the bends I wanted to be in the smaller hose, as a reinforcement.
    • Just a heads up. Mine has just failed. When i turn the car on it just reboots everytime then the word "Android" shows up then goes to a black screen. I've aksed the company i got it from for some help but it's passed their 90 day return so they wont help. I have to swap back to my old system this weekend 😭
    • Does the car have to stay auto? If so, you might be looking at a ZF swap in future.
