R33 FOR THE WIN.....

32's are just an upgraded silvia and personally would rather have a silvia (no offence to 32 owners) and 34's except the gtr just dont have the tough look about them there just bit plain....

I guess the conclusion is R33, R34 then the R32... is this fair???

R33 the best? Nah . The R34 gtr in my opinion is the most shit hot sexiest beast on the road, it is the king by far all other skylines bow befor it . At last years Autosalon there was a grey r34 gtr close to the entrance of the show it has an awsome kit on it carbon bonnet lowered , the whole bit , some custom work on the interior but not overly done, it was just sheer perfection, it was by far the most mean looking shit hot car at the show. Just the thought of owning a beast like that gives me goose bumps.

But i drive an r33 gtst and i really love my car . It is really challenging to find the right look for the r33 it has nice lines and unlike the r32 and 34 the r33's looks vary right across the scale from completely dumb ass ugly whale to the sleek low street weapon. I guess thats the charm of the r33, not to mention it probably one of the best bang for buck cars out there.

But really if i had the cash, oooohh if i had the cash oh gee here come the goosbumps.

Hehe funny how the only people who are saying R33's look best is the people who own them, guess they gotta justify spending the money.

My preference:

(1) R32 < Best overall, guards are nice and chunky and front bar looks nice, rear is sweet looking

(2) R34 < I .. All wings and guards and lips and stuff, nothing seems to flare out much, have seen some nice GTT's that stand out but most GTR's sorta look alike. Front of most looks phat and the back especially rear lights is nice

(3) R33 < Nothing much to like about them.. See them far too much and the GTS-T's are fugly as (especially series 1.. omg..) Even the GTR resembles a magna VRX or a mid 90's model camry (you'd be surprised how often i get them mixed) They're far too heavy and irregardless of the RB25 the 33 gts-t is only JUST faster than the RB20 powered 32 gts-t which i find disturbing.

the 33 might only be a bit faster than the 32 flat out, but drive them in traffic and see which one you find to have more power accross the board.

Nicely put.....

I saw a R34 the other day, with REGO VTEKA or something... just wanna say, pretty nice.... most of all, he looked at my R33 and drooled... respect right there... dual respect to a Skyline enthusiast.

Oh ok, so it's just like the only people who like the 32s are the ones who own them?

I've seriously got no problems with any skyline - the 32 owners seem to keep jumping out at us, that's why I do it back.

In all honestly, all skylines can chirp second and that's all that matters. The End.

R33 SERIES 2 GTST hands down are the best in looks youve all seen that one that just makes you have to have a nother look R33S2 = Shit Hot

1. Kick Ass Head Lights

2. Kick Ass Lines

3. Kick Ass In General end of story.

I reckon the R34 looks the sexiest, followed by R33 then R32.

R31 = I just want a skyline, even though it is a pos

R32 = completely out of date, interior looks like a vn commodore. Its just plain and simply old.

R33 series 1 = ugly ass front (standard), especially when the headlights go yellow

R33 series 2 = I found it looks much better than the series 1, has awesome lights and meaner lines.

R34 = A little boxy but who cares! Love em

As for wow factor, i reckon that it no longer exists with skylines. Back in the day you would see a skyline and think "wow". Now you look at one and go, oh another skyline...

i think the r33 interiors r just as ugly if not uglier then the r32's the sterring wheel of a r33 yukkkkkkkkkkkk atleast with the r32's we can put a momo one which would look good on it .... nothing beats r32 gtr's there light parts r cheap and u can turn em 4wd and 2wd ..... i dunt mind the r34 gtrs there hot as well but too expensive to maintain.. thumbs up for r32 GTRSSS!!! THE ORIGINAL KING ...

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
