LOL i lost mine for 14 months

life is tough, nothing goes to plan... deal with it ems

damn it...if i have to whine and chuck a hissy fit like Geroge W Bush, then i damn well will whine and chuck a hissy fit like George W Bush.....:)

Know what, I can think of a lot worse things than losing my license. Then again I've never even lost 1 point, go figure. I have a feeling that will change quick smart if I start working where there are say, police around more than once every 6 - 12 months.

Lost Mine 4 3 Months over Xmas Holidays.....The Drinking Things Was a Killer i had time off work cause we were quiet........

I got all my points back......now im back to last one:( lol

.......I can deal wit the speeding and the Neg driving one for being a hoon....the killer is the P plates 2 points 175odd...just cause my plates weren't fully displayed!!!!! P plate rules are only getting worce now.........

funniest thing is the way they tell u Highway patrol will be watchin your car verry carefully....:)

Paul you may find that your premium is the same but your excess is a lot more. I'm still yet to tell them that I've lost mine for the second time.

I'm 4 months into my 6 month suspension and I really don't think I've learnt my lesson. I'm not a hoon but I do speed when it's safe just to have fun. I think my driving will be the same as before. For me not having a licence hasn't been that bad. Making arrangements is frustrating but at the end of the day I deal with it and do what I can. Just my thoughts.

sure, i mean life goes on and its not the end of the world etc but god damn its frustrating some times

they sent me a summary of my policy since i notified them of the changes and the premiums etc are the same

I just got mine back from a 12 month suspension. Now i get a letter in the mail saying my points are over. So its either loose it for another 3 months or be good for 12 months. I've chosen the later. If i get caught on camera, i will give it to someone else. If i get caught, im stuffed for another 6 months.

Premium's wont be any differnt. I've lot my licence for a total of around 8 months. Once was a 6 month with minor extension and the other was a 1 month. Both were on my P's when I was younger and more stupid. I'm lucky that I have a very inconspicuous Daewoo if you get what I'm saying but yeah.....it SUCKS big time. Live and learn huh!

Yeah premiums are the same just excess will be more if you have a stack.

I don't know how you all manage to lose your licence(s).. I haven't had a fine in 5 years, I've never caused an accident and I drive about 20-30,000k a year.. I drive everyday usually.

On the other side, be glad you've only lost your licence and you haven't been to jail 3x for driving offences like one of my stupid brothers. Driving without a licence or on a suspended licence will definately end up with you in jail... and the sentence gets longer every time you get caught.

Not long to go now Paul! :thumbsup:

after taking the train today to the city for the first time since i lost mine, i can honestly say i've learned my fkn lesson!!!

train full weirdos :thumbsup: little 13 year old broad minded persons acting like they're adults, paint sniffers talking to the seats in front of em :P

1 month already gone, 5 months left to go for me.

I have three mates who are full blown alco's from loss of licence.

All cuold have used a 'reduced sentence bigger fine' deal, as all have funds.

but instead the government taught them a lesson in 'losing your job and getting blind drunk every night'.

Jim beam at first. now it's peach wine and sunnyvale medium white.

      Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.

      List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?

      @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand

      You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
