Im selling my used Bilsteins off my R32 GTSt. They are Whiteline Bilsteins with rear Whiteline springs, and King springs on the front. Have travelled approximately 70-80,000kms. No leaks and visually appear to be in good condition. Were removed and visually inspected at 60,000kms point, shocks found to be in good condition, front springs were replaced at this time.

Upgrading because ithe car on semi slicks at the track is simply too fast for what is effectively street suspension. Was planning on putting new higher rate springs and rebuild, but brand new shocks have fallen into my lap and will be using them.

Can no longer drive with in car as they were just removed...happy for them to undergo any imspection before payment. Testsament to Bilstein quality was the caer still drive well with them on the street or when on road tyres at skidpans and motorkhana work.

Updated price

Asking $450 ($90/shock, $45 per pair of springs)

having taken a trip in the car in question I can attest to the fact that it rides very nicely, and handles very well. for the little doers out there the bilsteins are an amazing upgrade for the money. you wont get anywhere near this kind of suspension performance for this money.

For $1000 i will throw in custom adjustable Whiteline Swaybars, 27mm front and 24mm rear. As is, this setup is good enough to on the right tyres lap tracks quicker then majority of rwd track cars. Great power down even with 250rwkws.

Yeh, happy to split.

A few pics with different wheels. Essentially the ride height is as per the Whiteline recommendations for ride height and is entirely legal, even with a HKS Hyper exhaust hanging under the car.

This one will give you an idea of hte body roll with smaller swaybars then i currently run. (ie has less bodyroll with the swaybars im selling in the above post)

LOL...what are they worth then? Since new Bilsteins are arounf $1200 then you need springs which are about another $300, i thought my price was reasonable. Have two seperate prices for rebuilding these at approx $125-150 each. So could be an option for someone wanting to use them as a basis of a custom/tailerred setup, (as was my plan)

Hi Roy,

Not sure if you got my PM from the other day, i don't mean to come across pushy, but I'm pretty desparate for those rears if you've still got 'em. I left my mobile in the PM, or you can email me here: [email protected]

Cheers,

matt

A few ppl have shown interest in just the rears. if you post up and between two people can find a home for both ends then i will split the suspension up. Hoewever without a guaranteed sale for the all four shocks i will be very reluctant to split.

The fronts will also fit an R33 GTS25t if that helps.

Otherwise im going through one of my fits of annoyance with parts i haev laying around. So if you want them...make a reasonable offer

Still sitting at the mechanics so havent been able to get the pics sorted....but offers? The verdict is the suspension is not faulty, just that i was asking too much from what is effectively a street setup that works well on the track with street tyres. Throw semi slicks and 160rwkws and some decent enough track times and it was a bit out of its element, though can be revalved to suit such as application for about $150 a corner and new sprinds at around $600

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
