A few of us can't make the drive ins tomorrow so I thought I would start up a second "screening" of the movie.

Friday 13th June

Blacktown Drive in..

Its on at 9:40

Our good friend rxboss is going to arrange $10 entry to the movie session, so all you have to do is post your interesting in going to this event.

For a bit of fun we are going to wire up a few cars with neons and glo sticks.. No laughing, just get into it!!

Friday 13/6/03 is the Date.

Venue wil be:

Greater Union Blacktown Drive-In

Address: Cricketers Arms Road

BLACKTOWN NSW 2148

Move will be a double feature!

Field 1

First movie starts at 7:30pm (8-Mile is on 5th to 11th June, not sure on the 13th)

2F2F Start time is 9:40pm

Cost $10. (No EFTPOS facilities)

The feature (2f2f) starts at 9.40..

There is a movie on before hand, either fat pizza or 8 mile I think.

Shall we meet somewhere else and then cruise in? We best be on time or early so we can all part together.

And Im not kidding about the neons! Come on people its only fun if we all do it.

lol, kel and I may yet be in seperate cars.

I'm refusing to come in a car with an N/A blow off valve, she's refusing to cruise in anything with Neons.......

And we'll be along for both movies too.....might have to park sideways to save some extra spaces :)

Anyone know then the first movies start?

Horus, I fully expect to be disappointed by the movie, but it should still be a great event! SAU should put on a prize for best rice, might even get GTR-80Y along then.

      I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'

      D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.

      KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.

      Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
