mmm so if my rings for my pistons were gone it would blow smoke out right from the exhaust? oh well guys mitchy has stepped out and confirmed that my engine has 165 compression for all 6 cylinders then the engine should be fine....im goin to go remove the stud and fit a dip stick in there problem solved thanks guys for ur support sorry to create a thread that was kidna like days of our lifes

no there has not been an explantion for the lack of dip stick from the previous owner of the engine and no i havne't had it tested myself...

Not always. Mum's BMW 120 doesnt have one. Its electronically read.

However, all RB's should have one .
