Audi R8 on the RE customs dyno last night. That car is so sexy... carbon fibre finish is superb

Yellow Ferrari F430 in southbank on kavanagh st yestrday. sounded TUFF!!

that r8 was a pleasant surprise when i came to get my car. sounded so sweet too

Maybach in the little off-street street-level car park in Lt Bourke St east (the less busy half of Chinatown), the one next to the LAN cafe. Didn't think one even existed in Melbourne. Wish I had my camera with me lol.

mazda 626 wagon in geelong yesterday, sporting a very nice body kit just revealing enough cooler core. lowerd black wheels on white car, and looked like a carbon fiber tail gate.

very much a sleeper

Not sure if it belongs in this thread, though? I wouldn't look twice at a 626.

" Super-spotted Thread, Things you don't see every day... "

dont see a 626 everyday that someone has put time and money into it, and stuck with what they have and built on it....

I've never seen a modified Lada in oz either, but I wouldn't be interested in it. I can definitely appreciate the amount of work an owner has to put in to modify a non-popular choice of vehicle, god knows I spent years researching and saving up to twin turbo my old 3L Magna, but that doesn't mean it's a good car. And I agree that a modded 626 definitely is not something you see every day.

blue rolls royce phantom drophead coupe parked in my street in ivanhoe

and a burgundy rolls royce phantom coming out of a street around the corner from me also in ivanhoe

Now that's more like it!

Never knew Ivanhoe was so upmarket.

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
