Troy, don't listen to these guys with their big HP GTR's, your car has punched out some very impressive times, infact its quicker than some of the mildly modified GTR's out there..

And the rest of the modded RWD guys are left behind aswell....

I say watch out for the silver bullet, its a quick car with a (half) decent steerer :D !!!

I dont have the turbo anymore! and whats in october?

blind as a bat.

What, so no GT-RS for you anymore? I would be real interested to see if it hurt your motorkhana times or helped!?!?!?!?! There is a big Phillip Island meet in october. Full noise so i will be able to get more then two sessions to get eyes on and get a time. Im mega pumped because its back to the future. The car is so much quicker then me..i need to grow into it again so will be interesting to drive the thing

And Jack, i would love to do more with my car, or another car. But,,,cant :D At the moment the car is awesome fun adn quicker then it used to be which is enough for me. And...dont say the car is quick, i want ppls jaws to hit the floor when i get it singing :) ...Fingers crossed a few things come to fruition in the new year and we all get the opportunity to see how good we are steering our cars. Stay Tuned :)

thats right, no gtrs. has buggered up what im gonna do. I was interested to see how it would have gone at the next deca too. mind you next deca is back to the old sideways days! So time to get a Pfc and get back to where we were for dutton..

Also - the guys in the Alfa have put together a nice collection of in-car footage from a bunch of the events - including at the end the footage from the Shearform Autotest. Thats worth having a look at as an example of the crazy stuff we had to do!

Hehe - ah, happy times.

If only I remembered where I had those pictures hosted...

Anyway, don't start it again. Team Silver Bullet sticks together in a time of crisis.

TB - with Jon Bon Jovi as my witness, I'll never stand idly by while people represent you as a gay man driving a silver automatic Mercedes convertible.

Oh, wait...

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
