gonna bring this one back to life, no point in starting a new thread.

actually my question relates to the above post.

my S2 stag had the orange cluster guages. is there a way to make this white? i assume there is a filter contact which makes them orange?

if i put white bright leds in there am i going to get bright yellow?

gonna see what happens with bright white leds behind the stock guages. at the moment they just need to be brighter, will post picks when i finally get around to doing it

Despite the fact this thread hasn't been used in 2 years I'll just put up my experience for someone else:

Series 2 dash - Orange filter on the back of the gauges, the only other color you can use is red. But you can take the cluster apart, remove the faces and sand back the orange filter, use a white light to shine through and ensure you've removed it over the numbers and markings. Doing this does require you to remove the needles and recalibrate after which was pretty awkward but im happy with my blue lights!
