Which day for the track day? No dates yet. Tickets would be around the 150 to 155 mark with these numbers.

$150 is a bit of money for it to be run on a friday.

I think you need to consider the effort and cost of these days.

Considering it costs $110 for the normal day

Then you get additionally for the $40:

  1. An organised day
  2. Official timing (big costs for this)
  3. Ambulance and flag marshal
  4. Derecks guidance where requested
  5. A sense of competition with prizes/trophy's and tangible bragging rights
  6. The possibility of any profit going to the club

Hey I am from Newcastle but I might head down for the weekend. I will just have to wait and see if the date collides with my shift.

Cheers,

Ryan

Great stuff! The more the merrier (to a certain extent)!

What do you drive Ryan?

SOOOOO.... Mister Goodyear tyres needs some track rubber huh???

Hehehehe I might be able to help out there Chris

Well I do remember you telling me how quickly you can munch your tyres at a track day, don't want to wipe our the Goodyears with a few trackdays :/ anyway have to think if I want to get involved.

im in, no matter what day its on  . $150 is, i think, a very reasonable price for a timed event.

Yes, it is good value for a timed event... timing is pretty expensive and a lot more fun trying to PB each time.

  • 2 weeks later...

I might be interested. I brought my Supra down to Wakefield a couple of weeks ago and ran a 1:16 in pouring rain. Would like to see what it can do on a dry track and semi slicks.

when are you guys looking at doing this?
