oh dear, last nite was a hoot

dave, hows the random body parts that got slammed into the door frame / pillar of my car?

should upload a few photos when i get my camera out the car......wasnt overly muddy but we found a good spot to go through. Even the cop that rocked up was chilled

So in light aircraft back here then? Errmm...No thanks :happy:

i prefer to call them dingy's in the sky

anyone know the causes of hard to start rb25? its cranks over but takes 5-6 times to slowly get running.. once its running if i turn it off then back on its fine..

its like only once its been sitting for a few hours!?

any ideas?

I have the same problem as well....so far cannot work out what it is arrgh

Next time you get on a plane flight and the guy next to you is an a-hole or the lady won't keep her kids coralled from kicking your back .... follow the instructions below ....

What to do in a flight when you have an annoying passenger seating next to you ...

1. Remove your laptop from the briefcase;

2. Open the laptop slowly and carefully:

3. Turn it on, as well as the sound;

4. Make sure that the passenger next to you is looking;

5. Access the Internet;

6. Close your eyes for a few moments, open again and look up to heaven ;

7. Take a deep breath and open the site: http://www.myit-media.de/the_end.html

8. Observe the facial expression of the passenger seating next to you.

Since i fly a lot for work i will keep this in mind LOL

Just putting the word out there that if anyone is interested in coming to Ministry of Sound Trance Nation to HQ next friday please hit me up for some tickets as its $30 on the night and the tickets are $20....cheers

BTW... If you want to prove a point N/A wise... You should do it in a 7.4L v8 or something. There is nothing that can be proven in a 2.5ltr 6Cyl N/A :down::P

I would be a bastard and say "rolls royce merlin' but theyre super charged so i have to settle for Rolls Royce Meteor

Life Story entry #336

Loaded and delivered some of the jarrah flooring that I purchased yesterday and today. Oh boy, did I bite off more than I can chew! I'm barely halfway thru it. Getting the rest of the 180m2 of flooring next Sunday (after dyno day).

I've still got splinters in my hands :rofl:

This week I gotta order the floor framing materials.

    • -10 is plenty for running to an oil cooler. When you look at oil feeds, like power steering feeds, they're much smaller, and then just a larger hose size to move volume in less pressure. No need for -12. Even on the race cars, like Duncans, and endurance cars, most of them are all running -10 and everything works perfectly fine, temps are under control, and there's no restrictions.
    • Update: O2 sensor in my downpipe turned out to be faulty when I plugged in to the Haltech software. Was getting a "open circuit" warning. Tons of carbon buildup on it, probably from when I was running rich for a while before getting it corrected. Replaced with new unit and test drove again. The shuffle still happens, albeit far less now. I am not able to replicate it as reliably and it no longer happens at the same RPM levels as before. The only time I was able to hear it was in 5th going uphill and another time in 5th where there was no noticeable incline but applying more throttle first sped it up and then cleared it. Then once in 4th when I slightly lifted the throttle going over a bump but cleared right after. My understanding is that with the O2 sensor out, the ECU relies entirely on the MAP tune and isn't able to make its small adjustments based on the sensors reading. All in all, a big improvement, though not the silver bullet. Will try validating the actuators are set up correctly, and potentially setting up shop time to tune the boost controller on closed loop rather than the open loop it is set to now. Think if it's set up on closed loop to take the O2 reading, that should deal with these last bits. Will try to update again as I go.
    • More so GReddy oil relocation kits, sandwich plates, etc. all use 10AN fittings. And same, I've only used 10AN and my car sees track work (circuit, doing laps, not 10 sec squirt business).
    • street use or race track, what hose size and why? what factors change with the hose size options ?   see most comon is an10. when you see most oem external coolers are closer to an12? does high volume oil pump like nitto need an12 or 10 be just fine
