No pics tonight but will get some tomorrow... as for the specs, twin pipes all the way to the cat, custom made by Andrew at AM Performance, can't recommend him enough!

You got the AM hi flow cat as well? Getting shit all over the rear bar?

I went to Pearl Jam at war memorial drive tennis courts, what, 14yrs ago. Then thebarton 12yrs ago.

1st one was unreal. Same yr saw SilverChair at the adelaide uni bar. woot

I went to that - it was on my 21st birthday. Bludged uni and spent the day lining up to get a spot right up front. Only problem was that friends came and gave me presents so I had all this stuff to look after. I was in the second row with one of my female friends directly in front of me and I had my arms either side of her, holding the fence to try and prevent her from being crushed. I withstood the Meanies set and about 10 songs by Pearl Jam before exhaustion & dehydration meant I had to leave and get a drink & rest. Had a great night though, not a typical 21st party.

Hey Dion :mrt: been waiting for you to come online.

No Swineflu anymore, yesterday was my first day out of quarantine!

Did you get the measurements for the gtr bar for me? :)

Oooops I forgotz. I will do it today when I get home, if you haven't heard from me by 4 chuck me an sms.

My first car I was an SLR5000 .Anyway I was looking the other day on ebay to see how much i could get for an SLR ashtray and i was amazed at how much these cars go for these days over 20k for a rust bucket. I wish i had of kept it. It was the only car i sold and made money on it. I sold it for 8000 about 10 years ago and if i kept it they reckon it would be worth about 50000 now.

Thought you might like to see my latest purchase, the new Work Emotion 11R rims, just released in Japan. I'm hoping I'll be one of the first in Oz to get them on a car. I bought some in matt black, 18x9.5 +20 all round for the Evo 8. Should fill the guards reasonably well lol...

I'm a big fan of the SLR and was looking at buying one last year ... but the high price tag scared me off. :D

Still want one tho. Maybe a replica :P

Nah, stayed with my Apexi cat, like Andrew said, no point buying one if I already had a good quality one....

Awesome rims there Kristian, what they going on?

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
