I saw that cream coloured r31 yesterday...I laughed  for ages.... With the stickers down the side and the v8 style bonnet scoop.... Se flawed off at the lights and it sounded and went like a standard 31. I let him go as there were police in the servo over the road watching him. I saw them smiling too. LOL

Just to re-cap it is the uglyest 31 i have ever seen. I reckon he is like the two guys in the zinger ad where they add body parts made of cardboard to the family car. Except this guy went with the real deal parts.

i think thats why they gave me the finger!! oops. couldn't help myself, used to own a pintara which looks remarkably like said sedan, and would never dream of doing that to it.

Yesterday saw silver R33 Series 2 sedan again...not sure if it was yours again JLNewton...probably....was heading towards toowong along moggill road.

Also R34 sedan, white, in city at lunchtime had R34 GT-R spoiler.

What's with all the sedans?!

Sedans are the new coupes!!

Twice as many doors, twice as good! :P

And in most cases about half the bloody price! (slight over exageration)

Spotted jlnewton (again) in GT-R along coronation drive about lunchtime today.

I'm thinking about starting just a "Spotted jlnewton" thread :(

haha, was wondering if that was you or not, didn't see you quick enough for a wave. You car sounds pretty sweet

Saw a lime green 33 GTST coming out of the ICB heading north for a while.

Also saw that Bayside blue R34 GTR with the carbon bonnet pictured a few pages back, pretty awesome looking bit of gear......

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
