I spotted a bright yellow Vespa scooter with large black lettering both front and back which said "SKA"

His fans are everywhere........ sick freaks!!

Stop denying yourself, you know you love me! They all do.

i want nismo plates lol spotted WILLO 34 gtr and DIS15 s15 cruised along with both till city turnoff , also a few liners .. waved at a 4 door white sedan 33 dwn coast femaile driver instead i get a finger ! lol some ppl .. tsk tsk..

Yeah Erin, Andrea thinks I'm waisting my time waving madly at every Skyline I see, but I am determined to get more people involved in their cars if it kills me. A simple wave is not a lot to ask, is it???

Well recently got back from holidays up in your pretty state and saw a few skylines around the place. Maroon R32 GTR near Broadbeach last Wednesday, awesome looking R34 GT-T in the Pacific Fair carpark on Friday (number plates RIDE M3) and a maroon aus delivered R32 GTR heading towards Brisbane airport on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile on a side note, how many f@#king people in Broadbeach own BMW's? I couldnt get away from them.

Spotted

Blue R32 GTS-T with 18/19" rims on old gympie rd at Lawnton this morning round 11am... You were turning off about 500m before Super cheap....

Had a few stickers on it.... Just noticed a 'Do-Luck' sticker on the rear right quarter...

Who ever you are your R32 is one of the niciest R32's i have ever seen... Very very clean and great choice of rims....

Also

1 minute later... A R33 S1 with no kit what so ever and with a S2 front end conversion... Very poorly done. S1 bonnet and head lights dont match the S2 fog lamp acemblies and you shoul never use fence wire to hold em on.... Very cheap....It also had a GTR rear wing, Car was painted poorly in midnight purple... Waved by got nothing... Note to you, just cause you think your cool by ignoring me means that i dont think you cool...

Im sad to say i spotted you are this is like the worst R33 i have ever seen.... I mean i have seen one pranged that look better...

Sorry...

I guess its so as i saw a horn r32 then a crap r33... Just the way it is....

    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
    • You won't need to do that if your happy to learn to tune it yourself. You 100% do not need to do that. It is not part of the learning process. It's not like driving on track and 'finding the limit by stepping over the limit'. You should not ever accidently blow up an engine and you should have setup the ECU's engine protection to save you from yourself while you are learning anyway. Plenty of us have tuned their own cars, myself included. We still come here for advice/guidance/new ideas etc.  What have you been doing so far to learn how to tune?
    • Put the ECU's MAP line in your mouth. Blow as hard as you can. You should be able to see about 10 kPa, maybe 15 kPa positive pressure. Suck on it. You should be able to generate a decent vacuum to about the same level also. Note that this is only ~2 psi either way. If the MAP is reading -5 psi all the time, ignition on, engine running or not, driving around or not, then it is severely f**ked. Also, you SHOULD NOT BE DRIVING IT WITHOUT A LOAD REFERENCE. You will break the engine. Badly.
