Sorry Sam... I must have missed it...

Sugar Road is a busy road... I was not in my skyline so no one spots me anymore...

Also the exec team spotted a Multicoloured R33 GTS-T S1(was mostlly green) with a front mount and electrical wire to hold on the front number plate... Mrbenno left a business card for the club... It was at Officeworks Milton...

I got sucked in :) Just got back from the carwash...they did a pretty good job...got served immediately and took no longer than 30 mins...good work! :) P/S...note to management...I reckon the first coffee should be free :)

Ah dAMN! Posted in the wrong thread... :D

spotted white 33 at the carwash spoke to the owner...sorry cant remember ur name :)

They did a great job on mine, but as they said earlier they were a bit rushed to do a top job, it was good to meet another in the over 40's Eddie, bring em on I say!

:)

Man I am only 35

:):)

Close enough :D

spotted a nice black 34 at Chermside earlier today.

and later a red one parked outside the Holden dealership at Aspley

Also spotted a very clean 33 at the car wash!

I saw that today as well the red R34 really stands out, looks hot, also saw a green R34 plates were 000JA or something like that on mongrel tce aspley.

well not sure if they are on the forums but im very keen to know who this is.

Black r32 Gtst, plated GON 32, now if ur reading this mate, let it known u almost copped a black eye this arvo, i dont know what state gave u your lisence but driving like a f**khead in traffic is abit much, no i will not say i have never been a dick on a main road, but not to the extent where i almost hit cars and scare elderly women.. if it wasnt for my mother being in the car with me i would of knocked u for six

u give skyline drivers a bad name, your driving was f**king reckless and could of injured someone...

I think the names are right.

Met Terry and Mel this morning at the car wash.

Also saw Pear at the car wash as I was leaving.

Nice cars. All clean. :D

Hey Eddie, Sorry I didn't say hi. dropped the car in and headed up the street to feed the kids. didn't know who had the 33 until you were ready to leave - Nice Car mate!

Terry, Mel, must have just missed you guys!

spotted sam (baysideblue) today on gympie rd bout 10ish..

I was also on gympie rd around that time...

I spotted Col this morning with a very confused look on his face and a timid wave to some crazy person in a Supra

Oh... I totally forgot about this... I thought to myself which SAU'er has escaped to the dark side... :)

I was on my way to the SCC exec breakfast meeting... It was nice to have a meeting with food...

A good friend of mine just told me about a black R33 that tailgated him along Ipswich Road and actually tried to pass on the inside of the turnoff to Wacol (Aron was on his way to work) Aron avoided the fool and then when the idiot latched onto his rear again, he touched the brakes. When stopped at the Wacol Station lights the tosser in the Black R33 actually got out of his car and approached my friend. Aron got out of his car, in uniform, and told the idiot, "You better get back in your car or I will flog you senseless in front of your girlfriend."

Thankfully the idiot did as he was told. You don't want to mess with Aron, he is the nastiest guy I work with and I am so glad he is my friend!!

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
