What everyone should focus on is DOING incline presses because they are an excellent exercise

FigJam, you cant change your muscle insertions, the most gifted bodybuilders, Flex Wheeler, Serge Nubret, Shawn Ray etc had massive round muscle bellies

Its simply their genetics, not the exercises they did. I read your entire journal yesterday. Wow, just wow.

Pretty much why I never bothered to come to PTC a few years ago when I posted a thread on ns.com asking for opinions on how to get a chest. After about 8 years training (probably only half of those with a clue) I've finally realised its never going to happen no matter how much hard work I put in. That's why it makes my f**king blood boil when cock suckers with no idea what they're on about tell me anything is possible and that I'm just not working hard enough.

It's a tough pill to swallow when you've worked so hard at something for so long that other f**kwits with no idea can walk into a gym and surpass what I've achieved (or not achieved) in 8 years, in a few months

I'm pretty much on the brink of quitting training altogether now

only just read this. I dont disagree with genetics playing a major role in how your muscles look.

I assume you say wow just wow because im an amazing physical specimen and you are in awe?

Hey Dezz do you do a lot of crunches and work at a desk? I was watching this video and thought about your problems with your hamstrings

Don't quit dude! Don't be a squishy, soft excuse for a man like 90% of the population, 8 years is too much work to give up on... I bet you still look 100 times better than the average gym goer anyway... maybe change your focus a bit... if bodybuilding isn't going to be your thing why not try weightlifting/powerlifting/strongman... or even crossfit! ...if your desperate...

having just taken up powerlifting its pretty demoralising to see a teenage kid smash your lifts after walking into a gym for the first time... but hey, shit happens... they catch a bus home and jerk off in their bedrooms trying not to get caught by their mum... I drive home, sit in front of my big ass TV and jerk off trying not to get caught by my wife lol

*sigh* I shouldn't be allowed near a keyboard

Five words, Nick: I was thinking of you...

The biggest lie man ever told hahahaha.

lol

My Mrs is actually very cool... when I met her she had a bigger porn collection than I did... I knew she was a keeper

I once sent her a pic because the girl was her clone... there was a scary few seconds when I thought it WAS her... your not sure whether you should be turned on or not... it's all very confusing lol

that's one moment when I actually was thinking about her!

TTT: yeah mate I know... but you can't help comparing... insecurity is a sickness

lol, keeper for sure. I would find that an attractive quality in a woman...she knows what she wants and isn't inhibited by societal expectations.

Also...they told us we would stop jerking off when we got a girlfriend and regular sex. THEY LIED.

I'm totally with you TTT about the squats, but he (tm7gtr) said he needs to lose bodyfat, not weight. which he does if he wants to get rid of saggy nips.

The muscle building that creates the shape sure as hell counters it though. And will contribute a long way to being muscular and lean

I don't see how a 70kg guy needs to focus on losing fat.

if he got stronger and bigger muscles he won't need to focus on losing boobie fat.

Lol I said IF he wanted to lose the puffy look.

No way in hell should he be thinking about cutting yet...

Bro you need ta eet 80g of simple carbz to spike ur insulin otherwise ur musselz won't grow and u wil go catabolic strait away m8. U've just lost all ur gainz now bro. I hope u took bcaa priar to ur workout 2 becuz apparently all that protein u ate b4 during da day somehow just disappears when u start working out so you go catabolic.

    • Yup. You can get creative and make a sort of "bracket" with cable ties. Put 2 around the sender with a third passing underneath them strapped down against the sender. Then that third one is able to be passed through some hole at right angles to the orientation of the sender. Or some variation on the theme. Yes.... ummm, with caveats? I mean, the sender is BSP and you would likely have AN stuff on the hose, so yes, there would be the adapter you mention. But the block end will either be 1/8 NPT if that thread is still OK in there, or you can drill and tap it out to 1/4 BSP or NPT and use appropriate adapter there. As it stands, your mention of 1/8 BSPT male seems... wrong for the 1/8 NPT female it has to go into. The hose will be better, because even with the bush, the mass of the sender will be "hanging" off a hard threaded connection and will add some stress/strain to that. It might fail in the future. The hose eliminates almost all such risk - but adds in several more threaded connections to leak from! It really should be tapered, but it looks very long in that photo with no taper visible. If you have it in hand you should be able to see if it tapered or not. There technically is no possibility of a mechanical seal with a parallel male in a parallel female, so it is hard to believe that it is parallel male, but weirder things have happened. Maybe it's meant to seat on some surface when screwed in on the original installation? Anyway, at that thread size, parallel in parallel, with tape and goop, will seal just fine.
    • How do you propose I cable tie this: To something securely? Is it really just a case of finding a couple of holes and ziptying it there so it never goes flying or starts dangling around, more or less? Then run a 1/8 BSP Female to [hose adapter of choice?/AN?] and then the opposing fitting at the bush-into-oil-block end? being the hose-into-realistically likely a 1/8 BSPT male) Is this going to provide any real benefit over using a stainless/steel 1/4 to 1/8 BSPT reducing bush? I am making the assumption the OEM sender is BSPT not BSPP/BSP
    • I fashioned a ramp out of a couple of pieces of 140x35 lumber, to get the bumper up slightly, and then one of these is what I use
    • I wouldn't worry about dissimilar metal corrosion, should you just buy/make a steel replacement. There will be thread tape and sealant compound between the metals. The few little spots where they touch each other will be deep inside the joint, unable to get wet. And the alloy block is much much larger than a small steel fitting, so there is plenty of "sacrificial" capacity there. Any bush you put in there will be dissimilar anyway. Either steel or brass. Maybe stainless. All of them are different to the other parts in the chain. But what I said above still applies.
    • You are all good then, I didn't realise the port was in a part you can (have!) remove. Just pull the broken part out, clean it and the threads should be fine. Yes, the whole point about remote mounting is it takes almost all of the vibration out via the flexible hose. You just need a convenient chassis point and a cable tie or 3.
