Mate I don't get involved in that side of it.

I'm a lifter and try to better myself and that is all I care about.

There are tested Feds and non tested.

Even though some people have been caught in the tested one in the past so I guess you can safely say that there are users in the non tested fed and I am totally ok with that.

You running E85 in your car yet?

I have to run 98 so that means you are taking advantage of something that gives great performance over me because you can.

Amen and lol

Competition is still competition and not everyone is in it for just their own betterment. There's money, careers and sponsorship at stake. It would suck to put in so much effort and get edged out by a user - which is, I guess how Armstrong's runner ups feel. But I guess that's where tested competitions have their niche.

I don't have any issue with people using steroids, causs I don't compete in anything but the Birds olympics. I do consider it cheating though. But my definition of cheating is any major competitive advantage that most people in that competition choose not to use, or don't have access to. People can camp in Call of Duty and guarantee a high kill/death ratio. It's not against the rules, but the advantage is lost when everyone starts doing it. The game is also farking boring.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. What you call cheating others call taking advantage.

You take wpi? You are supplementing your body by giving it more protein than you get from your days food.

Some people supplement their body with extra test.

What if I (at 36) have lower free test in my body than you? And the doc says hrt for you buddy.

I get jabbed with gear and get my test levels to the high side of the range and now have more than you.

does this make it cheating?

does it make it cheating if we were in the same comp?

You can't get test from food like you can with protein. Can drink a litre of milk and get the same protein as a shake. I agree it's all grey, but you gotta draw the line somewhere and I guess most people do that at prescription or illegal drugs.

Now, back to Skylines and their semi transparent panels.

E85 is not cheating, you can buy it legally. It's an easy way to make more power, response and protect your engine. so if you don't use it for whatever reason that's your issue. Don't complain about others using it! Not that this is about E85!!!!

Steroids are illegal but if people want to use them, that's their call. I understand why but its not for me.

What about the grey area where designer 'test boosters' are sold legal.....but really aren't

They will be cheating on Monday through Wednesday, legit on Thursday through Saturday. Sundays will be decided by a rock paper scissors round robin.

Saturday through Sunday, Monday, Monday through Sunday yo

I have absolutely no problems with people that use AAS, but don't necessarily understand why non-competing folk use them. It's really expensive to do properly and if they want to spend there money on that then who am I to stop them. I don't understand the stigma attached to it either, if you are using them and someone asks you about it, why not own it?

The people that s**t me off are the bro scientists who spread false information about AAS making you impotent or your balls small, bitch titte etc. Sure they can if you have no idea what you are doing but you'd hope they aren't stupid enough to inject something into themselves without fully understanding it. These people are usually the ones that also chastise users...

I'd consider doing a cycle in a year or two if I'm not where I want to be physique or strength wise.

Testicular atrophy is unavoidable I'd think, given that you're flooding your body with more testosterone than it's ever seen before hence they have no reason to function normally and go into hibernation so to speak.

Troy is right. But overall atrophy will depend on the length, and dosage of the cycle.

On the topic of money though Mitch, I reckon it would be cheaper to do a cycle and eat natural food sources than taking other supps and getting to that size/strength natty over a long period of time lol. Shouldn't condone that, but probs true.

While you're all talking supps etc, any reason I shouldn't get some creatine, specifically to aid in recovery? Everything I'm reading tells me it should help me recover faster.

At the moment I just have a WPI post workout and on the off days, it has something like 5.5g of BCAAs in it also which are supposedly beneficial as well.

The other option I've hear about was glutamine.

I don't wanna clog this thread, but I'd also appreciate of any if you knowledgeable folk could take a look at the last post in my build thread and comment.

SWIM has access to whatever gear they want (should they ever go down that route; unlikely) through a mate. All legit stuff. Everything done as 'correctly' as you can without getting bloodwork done (so yeah, bit of guessing here and there though things like PCT are treated with a touch of overkill). SWIM offered enough for an 8 week cycle of testosterone propionate @50mg ED, plus on-cycle aromatase inhibitor, plus PCT (clomid and nolvadex) for $800.

That's $800 for a mild cycle, for someone who doesn't even come close to competing nor near their natural limits.

Cheap, but definitely not worth it considering hahahaha

I'm not so much knowledgable at all with creatine, though given how cheap the shit is I can't see why not grabbing some.

For those of you going "why would you spend so much money on gear if you don't even compete"... why do you have a hi powered rwd sports car with stiff suspension, loud exhaust etc etc when the 95% of the time the speed limit is 60km/h?

Cause you f**king want to.

Because you "might" take it to the drags.

you "might" take it to a curcuit.

you "might" want to take off from the lights like a sick flamin mongrel

you "might" find it funny to gate some poor flamin mongrel driving along with their window down through a tunnel.

Drawing a line at illegal/prescription gear is fine.

How does your skyline go at meeting EPA requirements for sound and CO2?

How does it go with the rules in regards to legal modifications in your state?

Again... it's all personal opinion based.

I'm sure there are a bunch of geared athletes that drive around in bone stock Ford Falcons that were gated by some non geared guy in a skyline while driving with the window down in a tunnel who thought... what a f**k head.. why would you want to spend all that cash on making your car fast and loud when I'll just pull up next to you at these next lights anyway..

    • Small update for the day... Turns out the intercooler and engine coolant hose kits are anything but complete....I probably should have counted better but it only really covers about half the coolant hoses in the car, it really just covers the visible stuff and pretends everything else doesn't exist (turbo water feed and returns and also heat exchanger lines through the 2 pumps and cooler) .In any case, I'm happier to have half reliable hoses than none, but a bit of a disappointment. Anyway...finger click (and 5 hours).....hoses in place, lots of spring clamps replaced with screw clamps, and engine coolant is on the pressure tester for the night.   Incidentally, upsized header tank is an Inifiniti factory option....not sure I'll ever do prod car racing in this but at least it is legal.
    • Just weld it onto the hot pipe. If you want it right after the turbo, put it right after the turbo. Or rip the comp cover off and drill and tap a hole into it.
    • hahaha glad I can rely on you two to go on a spiral at the drop of a problem! Some quick answers....the ducting is excellent top bottom and sides....everything that gets in goes through the coolers (noting the oil cooler redirects it out again, fair call if it is cooling 120o+) and the heat exchanger for the intercooler also has some scoops to pick up more than it's fair share too. I can't see going down the water spray track....no bueno for formal racing and a big risk for long rally days if you run out (plus I'm not clear if it is allowed there either yet).   Frankly, it must be possible to reliably put 400kw through a standard front end, the BMWs do it so I just need to work it out....I'm starting with reducing blockages in the way and adding some coolant capacity with a bigger header tank, flushing rad and making sure it was filled/bled properly (I didn't do the last coolant change); also taken measurements incase next step is a bigger/higher capacity custom radiator
    • wow, a completely stock GTR! I've got to admit, I have no idea from what you are describing....do you have  any idea where the "thump" comes from, and are you certain it is the HICAS light not something else like the cat overheat light?
    • nice work, welcome to the world of CAD! fabricating accurately in 3 dimensional space is beyond me....I almost always end up making something more than once...sorry I mean I extensively use prototyping
