i dont normally take a pre workout simply because I have never noticed a difference in the past when I have taken them.

only gave this one a try as the guy gave me a whole bunch of samples.

didnt read into the marketing. GAT does market a bit like that, but I have read good things about their products.

end of the day it was a sample, I gave it a go and first test was a good one. I have 3 or 4 more samples of it which I will try and report back on.

so these are the claims;

1)SUPER-INTENSIFIED ENERGY*
2)CLINICALLY PROVEN PRO-TESTOSTERONE*
3)REACTIVE HYPEREMIA (MUSCLE PUMPS)*
4)DMAE INFUSED, MIND-IN-THE-MUSCLE FOCUS*
5) ROAD MAP VASODILATION*

What it actually means

1) It's got some calories
2) Doesn't raise testosterone beyond normal or at all in the case of a healthy person (hence not illegal)
3) So what
4) placebo
5) Only applicable if you are lean. If you are a juiced up body builder you have what you need already.
yet another 'short cut' promise that tastes like apples.

In my experience with Bulk Nutrients' Cognitone PWO, DMAE is more or less the only thing in it that I notice a very distinct benefit from. It's just another analogue of DMAA I believe, and DMAA gave me a very noticeable increase in mental focus....so I guess I'm saying in my opinion, it's far from a placebo.

Like t-boosters. Most only raise your test by 42%. An increase of well over 200% is needed for any real muscular results

I disagree Tom, please stop spreading unfounded misinformation like this.

They raise it by 48%. Get it right.

dollar for dollar, injecting test would be much cheaper when actual effects are concerned lol

Step 1 - engage in dat dere sexy time 5 times in one day

Step 2 - go to doc, say you can't get it up, request blood test to analyse t-levels

Step 3 - t-levels come back lower than normal (yeah you knew this would happen; inb4 sabotage)

Step 4 - get prescribed test therapy and reap the reward of dem gainz for cheap

might as well cut to the chase and start pinning.

Speaking of which, do pro powerlifters use gear? Probably a Markos question, not judging, genuinely curious.

In an untested federation? Probably. In any competitive environment where people devote their lifestyle towards a cause, you can be sure people will be doing everything they can to get the best out of themselves and get an edge on competition. People do it in tested environments like the Olympics; I don't see why they wouldn't in a situation where it is legal. I would if it was my sport.

Every 2nd guy (ok maybe 3rd guy) in my gym is on the gear. Most are happy to admit it too, although its pretty obvious on most. That's in an environment where not many care about what you lift.

I can assume in an competitive environment where testing is not as prevalent the use of the stuff would be frequent. You can get it from anyone nowadays and that makes it even more widespread.

Although its a shame and a sign of the times when whenever there is someone who looks well built or lifts big people assume steroid use...

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
