I was a skeptic until we took our previous 11yr old Boxer to see one, she was very clearly in less pain and happier. She made it to 12.

I realise you are not a dog, but I was very surprised.

hahaha im more of a mule then a dog

Got to keep on keeping on.

Some good news my way is that my groin pulled up better then i expected this morning.

No pain at all but still a little stiff

Stiff, groin...haha Edited by L33SH

What protein powders is everyone using?

Looking to make a switch for some nicer/different tasting protein after years of on bulk nutrients.

Bulk nutrients is about $30/kg for WPC (~80% protein) or $35/kg for WPI (~90% protein)

Looking for something maybe similair value wise

Optimum nutrition gold standard whey was very popular at my powerlifting gym. Probably the best tasting protein shake I've ever had. A kg bag is about $60 though.

My sister loves species nutrition isolyze, haven't tried it myself though.

anyone know any bulk protein suppliers in australia?

i want to get back into taking protein shakes, diet, etc

and i've used Protein Authority a while ago after going through tonnes of US branded things (ON, Dymatize blah blah) but they've been taken forever to restock their WPIs which test phenomenal, especially the Iced Mocha flavour, beats every protein i've ever used hands down

so yeah, suggestions?

Bulk Nutrients

Just drink the protein faggots, are you downing it for a soy latte substitute or for the gains

People used to drink raw eggs ffs

people still do drink raw eggs.

i used to when i boxed. Old school gym advice

Drink it quick or put in some cinnamon in it, cinnamon is a excellent spice with lots of health benefits.

I blend 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 30 g LSA and 30 g vanilla protein on my weetbix in the morning, YUM.

BN coffee, mocha and choc mint taste like blahhh IMO.

Chocolate and vanilla are good to go though.

I'm hearing ya re: changing off BN for a while - after I blasted through 5kg of banana WPI, BN was the last thing I wanted. 2kg of super sweet ON Gold Standard later, and I'm switching back to the cheaper blend they have out.

Some of us consume 3 shakes a day for our 3 hour arm workouts fyi Birds

    • Hey keep the ideas coming, I'm always keen on projects! But, problem fixed!  I got a cheapie ozito scope from Bunnings and had a good look in and around the bearing and sensor hole. I couldn't see a smoking gun but the bearing looked a bit strange, especially when comparing with a new one. I thought the cover had come off the bearing magnets.  Sorry for pics of a screen, I didn't have an SD card.     Good thing I had the old one to inspect. So, given I'm like a pit crew with wheel bearings and luckily I had a spare bearing because I f**ked up my parts order, I decided to just smash it out. Got the old one out in about an hour. So much easier when the parts haven't had a chance to rust together yet. 😂 And, well, found the problem.    In the second pic at about the 8 o'clock position, you'll see what I think is the tip of the old sensor.  The new sensor has definitely been rubbing but it's all intact, just a little shiny so I'm hoping it's fine.  The car brakes perfectly now and no errors.  I think the job took about 2.5h in the end. 👍🏻 I really appreciate the help in here as usual. Thanks guys.
    • I was only looking because I saw some drops on the ground but it wasn't alot. Recently had it serviced will ask the mech to confirm. Find it strange that it looks standard though, can see in another photo of a random box
