I have the two Group A touring car support races from the 1992 Australian Grand Prix meeting in full and good quality. Good ol' Jimmy Richards won both of them. I'm literally about to head out the door right now but tomorrow [pending an extreme hangover] I'll have a lash at uploading them somewhere and post the link here for youse. Have a good one!

Good man  Id be keen to see them...

Skyliners, I'm uploading these 1992 Australian Grand Prix Group A races in segments [and in order]. Segments are around 100MB each [approx. 10mins], and there will be 5 all up. It'll probably be into tonight before all of them have been uploaded but it will be worth the wait, I promise. I will eventually whack these on YouTube but for now, feel free to just download the original files here and then you'll have them to enjoy anytime you want. If you don't have broadband or bandwidth to burn, PM me and I'll try to sort something out for you. I do have these races floating around on a DVD somewhere so if anyone is interested I'll try to track it down.

Commentary from Mark Skaife and big Darrell Eastlake. It's gonna be HUUUUUUUUGE!

When the page loads, you have to scroll right to the bottom and wait for the file info to load. Then click on the link next to 'Save file to PC'. Enjoy!

Hey thanks targethonda.

These clips are awesome

Did u notice in race 1 part 1, that when Skaiffe is talking to Eastlake he didn't actually say that he was looking forward to racing a holden next year?!

All he said was that he was sad to see the Nissans go! :D

no worries bigslick, glad you like em. The final part should be up sometime soon.

Yeah, interesting point on the commentary! Also in race number 2, Darrell refers to the Nissan as a "GTS" throughout the entire thing. I don't know why cuz he said "GTR" all through race 1 without a problem! Oh he's a quality kid that Mr Eastlake.

oki doki, here's the final piece of the puzzle - race 2, part 2

I hope youse all enjoyed this footage. I reckon the R32 is still the meanest mofo of a GTR in terms of looks and sounds, but that's just me.

Cheers,

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
