Ahhh, you guys built the crazy R32 GTR that recently raced at Tsukuba? Congrats on all the success

And congrats on the R35. Lots of us are dying to see how they go with mods!

Damn you have lotsa GTRs, how about spreading it around a little mate?

Nice work Russ, any particular modification plans for the R35 when it arrives?

Nick

r35 will get caged, exhaust , hopefully ecu modifier of some description for boost fuel timing & speed limiter, terratrip, seats, harness

it will be stripped out of alot of interior and not much else at this stage, want to be able to run buller and things like that.

the r34 will be 3ltr, autronic, hollinger, v8 supecar brakes, full ikeya arms, carbon doors and bonnet, caged, single seat, as light as possible for pure time attack events.

nearly all these parts are here just waiting for the bloody car!!

yeah too many gtr's! (mind you they are mark's as well!!)

my wife is really getting the shits and had enough!

but i just cant help it a lovem!! and just amazed at the new car that nissan have delivered!

Before the R33 goes i so would love to see some footage of it being driven in anger

hey roy , it,s coming mate!

we stuck into it over christmas , all new fuel system , pulled the engine back out and dry sumped it, engine should go back in.

i would say it will be on the dyno in two or three weeks, want to have it finished before starting anything else,

want to do a few events in it before selling it! probably do gatton street sprints up here in march.

so i will have vids of it and pics of car sometime soon.

what would be the best optin shan?

i was going to rally rego it

well if you're gonna go balls out and race mod it then you'd probably be better off with a race import. it'll also see the car in your hands faster.

if its gonna be sedate mods then putting it on the road might be more fun/profitable when you want to sell it down the track. that said, it'll be at least 6 to 8 months before anyone can comply em.

i'd go the race import, easier, quicker and cheaper.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
