Just a question... why go to the trouble of putting nice gauges all the way over on the other side of the dash when the only time you would read them is when you were drifting around a right hand bend, at which point i would be watching the road rather than my gauges? I can't even read the numbers without blowing up the image.

I'm by no means having a dig at you for it, as I believe everyone should modify their car in what ever way makes them feel good... I just have never understood it???

I will say that I am happier to see that you didn't just get the hole saw and cut straight into the dash like some... very handy work there with the glass mate, well done.

but the thing is if you know what the gauges are (ie position) and what the needles usually sit at, all you need to do is take a quick glance, check the needle position and see how its going....

it the same with the gauges place under the head deck near the shifter - its hard to read them there aswell....

well here is my piller pods i have been doing

i know i could of bought them but thought i will just make a custom one

hey guys

car was dropped off the briffa on thursday for the IC piping and was all finished today, mick wasnt kidding when he said he will have it done by the weekend , but couldnt get a tow so car will be back to beyond for wiring tomorro yay

i guess i will find out in the next 2 weeks, cant drive hard straight away got to wear in the clutch. also i think i will have a problem with traction cause it getting into the rainy weather :) hehe

i never understood why 32's have a break duct on one side but not the other lol. oh well

It's for the stock intercooler..

Anyway, nice work Flash - always good to see another rwd 32 getting a huge power upgrade :(

      For anyone who finds this via a search  An s14 alternator connector and Silvia Fusebox/350z headlight connector can be used. Get the non pigtail version of the alternator connector so you can use 12 gauge wire for the pump.    I am using  https://ebay.us/m/ToEEmM And https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-xenonhid-headlight-connector-w-pigtails-8-pin-male-nissan-350z-03-08-z33-or-jdm-fusebox-for-silvia-s14-czp-26060-m-8pin_p_19166.php

      Meh, I think we're well into a new era of 90s JDM car. The days when spare engines and parts were cheap and plentiful are long gone. Therefore the YOLO approach is now massively difficult to justify, use and maintain. One should start to ponder whether an 800HP build is really justified, using stock parts. My thoughts? If you like/love the car and want to keep it and don't want to ruin yet another one, then be discrete about how much you ask from the stock parts. A 5 or 600 HP build is still a very fast car. If you want to go silly, have to have the 1000HP territory, then just drop all your cash, buy billet everything (or PRP cast block, etc etc) and use a bigger/more modern gearbag, and put a massive retrofit diff and axles into it. If you ruin any of those things then you're either ham fisted and deserve it, or you're pushing waaaay too far for the stock stuff anyway. The (presumably) young guys who are buying 30-35 year old busted arse Jap refugees and thinking they can live the life that was lived by others 20 years ago are deluded. Expectations need to be adjusted somewhat.

      I take it that you bought the centre to suit the GTR axles? As in there was a plan, not just somehow lucky that it worked? It all looks excellent, by the way.

      New engine block time. Up to you whether you want to keep going down this road with this project. Unfortunately a lot of these cars are like this. The road to getting these cars into decent shape is long and not fun for reasons that you're discovering.
