spotted a silver r34 gtr vpec with plates spy 34 goin down northeast road at maybe 7:30ish?

they turned into the modbury bp

also spotted a shiny red s14 going down the same road at the same time that turned into the lil road near repco

spotted WLD MAN at intercection of frome and melbourne st at about 5.30 tonight, looking good mate! gave a small toot not sure if you heard lol

Ha ha yeah seen ya too...... boy what a bad time to go through town. PEAK HOUR

spotted a dark 33 - looked like a GTR, had sun in the eyes - plates SLY 033, on Newton rd this morning. I know an ex forum member used to have these plates, but his was a silver GTST

then a little further up the road on Darley spotted a nice resprayed 33 GTST in a maroon metallic, 400R rear bar and drift lip. looked very tidy

Followed a wine red 33 this morning from south road down doctors road, states road, wheatshief road and onto panatalinga road. Looked pretty much stock. Pulled away from us as we got onto panatalinga road.. Was about quarter to 7 this morning.

spotted a red 32 going up to windy point at about 10.25pm, a white 33 going past me while i was on the side of montacute road at about 10.40pm, then a silver 33 with a blue sticker on rear window and a cfs top on at blackwood BP at about 12.20am.

Yesterday about 5:30pm spotted a white 33, not sure if was GTR on south road heading south from sir don bradman.

Then as heading north spotted a silver 33 GTR, very clean, gave the driver a wave, got one back, dont think is on here.

dark blue or black r33 with huge cannon on it,, doing about 110 on the expressway ... she pulled up next to me on south rd ,, it was a older lady, late 40's or early 50's driving it... some spiky blond hairdoo. I was shocked !!! thought it was a kid from the quick glimpse of the hair/car from a distance..lol

she was so lucky, the laser motorbike was out a few K's up the road from her entrance...lol

Spotted a nice midnight purple 33 gtr on south road at Darlington.

Also a stock looking silver s2 stag on Panalatinga road about lunch time.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.  
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
