....and there goes the spotted thread.

spotted a bronze 180sx with a 32 front today.... interesting. around 3pm, out the front of work.

was owned by a mate of mine, used to have plates R32180 or similar, think he sold it but...

This coming from someone that usually has a go at people on here for 'hooning'..... Oh but you had a good reason to 'hoon' i guess... Think twice before having a go at someone else for commenting something like this, or on how tragic it is when someone is killed by a 'hoon', today it could have been you that killed someone..

Who said I "hooned". Were you there? No? I accelerated to 60 faster than he did ... I'm on a bike! No laws broken ... no one killed. One Porsche owner embarrassed ... good result. And I'll continue to have a go at hoons ... so don't worry yourself princess. :D

if he stopped at 60, no laws would have been broken. Rapid acceleration is not a crime.

-D

True.

Cops could probably go me for excessive noise. Thats it. No wheel spin. No wheelie. No speeding. I say I spanked a Porsche and you guys automatically assume I broke laws in the process. Fail. :P

There will be some excuse to say that it was ok though.

Don't need an excuse when no laws were broken. I don't need to go past 60 to prove my point. :P

Well when you stated "I don't normally give in to hoons wanting a race ... but it was an opportunity to put "Mr Compensating" and his Porsche in line. Thats what you call a race? When you state the words 'hoon' and 'race', it usually means you sped upto and beyond the speed limit, why even give the guy satisfacton of a 'race' if your on a bike, didnt think you would win? Also after the first time, why do it again? In the police officers eyes (if one had pulled you over), you did it twice from 2 sets of traffic lights next to a porsche, I recon he'd call that 'hoonish behaviour'..

Nice assumption there. :P

Did I say that I "raced" him? I said I "spanked" him. I said he wanted the race. I just accelerated to 60 quicker than he did is all ... twice. :D

Back on topic ...

I keep spotting the same white R32 going into the city on Glen Osmond Road most mornings as I'm heading out from the city. Anyone here?

:P

How do you know he wanted a 'race'? If he wanted a race then you go and accelerate to 60 faster then he did then you gave him what he wanted.. a race.... But really, now im just trying to piss you off, which from what i've seen written around SAU, I dont wanna do that :)

white 33GTR on NE road heading towards the city about 12.30am... didnt get a good look who it was... luke maybe?

oh and then some p plater in an old excel with an exhaust trying to drag me up mcintyre road then onto golden way...

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
