purple R34 GTR, SAU-34 belching black smoke ,running a bit rich while cold on south rd I was in front of you at the lights

Hey mate - might be the fact I hadn't driven it in 10 days! But yes definately cold.

Jeremy thats been me in the white commo thats been waving at you :P

haha yeah felt like an idiot cos i thought you may have been waving at someone else haha but saw your face in mirror.. took me ages cos was listening to the chick in my car :) looked like you was going to autobarn

Silver 33 was me. My car really needs a wash - the shine off of yours put it to shame!!

haha should see it now.. f**ken birds in tree above my car grrr

saw and drove with and behind dark 33 all the way from novar gardens to marion, didnt look, smile or nod once

white r32 gtst near that fitness shop diagonal/ sturt intersection

10:45am

Black R34 4-door with factory position foglights, factory rear wing, no kit, silver meshies, privacy glass @ the rear.

Pulled up next to me at the Byards/Kenihans Lights, I saw it in my side mirror, and subconsciously thought I was seeing the reflection of my car ( I do check it out in windows all the time haha), then realised as I turned left and it turned right that there were a lot of things that didn't match...

Mine would be the the one with full factory kit, factory wing, and R33 GTR wheels.

Spotted 'RIPP3R' and black R33 along diagonal road heading past Marion, was in the left lane turning into Fitness First

ah you the white 32 i mentioned above..

saw "dare ya" parked out front of tyre power blackwood

RIPP3R going down Flagstaff Rd about 6 ish

And a R34 GTR, 'SAU-34' On South Rd/Daws Rd Intersection about 11:45

Was that you that I saw turn right next to me onto Daws Rd??

Edit: While I'm at it saw that killer black 34 GTR with the red leather seats on Churchill Rd around 4pm - so fat! :(

And a nice black stagea near my work with plates GTS-xxx

Oh and lucky last I saw Chad in the Stag on Panalatinga around 5.30pm, was in old man's Territory.

    • How dare you sell your unreliable Skyline and buy a reliable, Toyota/Yamaha car with a strong gearbox, torsen LSD and Toyota reliability. At least you won't need to worry about oil pumps, big catch can, oil restrictors, blowing off power steering belts, sheering off 3rd gear, failing ABS relays/pumps, etc.
    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
