what are you going to do about the blow by issue?

its not a blowby issue....its a high RPM oil control issue. If it was a blowby issue it would occur at max boost at any rpm. Dave has previously stated on here how good the engine is sealed and has virtually no blow-by. Funnily Dave runs a rear oil "drain" which i have said in the past does not work...this again proves my theory on this modification. Dave if you want to track it without an issue its a simple fix...give me a call to discuss if you wish.

ahhh I somehow think the new box might got the same way as the old box sooner or later....better start saving for os giken or something.

despite the crap in the morning, in the afternoon the track was pretty good...proper grip through slicks or semis feels brilliant when you've only been used to street tyres

Semis were amazing Duncan. I feel that i didnt reach the limits of them with the short time we had in the afternoon due to the rain etc.

I was on Stueys bum all the way around the track, with him only gaining on the straight. Then the box went

How do you think it was for Dave and I...bit of a stressful time during the 1st phonecall.

We got it all sorted though without too much hassle.

    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
