We are nearly ready...just swapped all the adjustable suspension/arms/rods out of the drag car into the circuit car....yes all the so called 'drag' set-up is in our superlap car now. Doing alignment, brake pads and lines tomm. so Luke can have a bit of a feel of the set-up before the event. Mark will be doing final tuning Friday before the event and final set-up will probably occur in pit lane after the first session.

John P...after all the talking you were doing the other day i hope your car is going to be ready....with you behind the wheel showing us all how its done in the worlds most modified "Z".

Do not under estimate any Lotus. HKS took the super cheater spec EVO that holds the Tsukuba Super Lap

record to Sepang and there was a car that was developed by Proton or something that wiped the floor with it. It was up for sale a few months ago and sold for about 230,000 pounds.

Seriously guys, one day at Oran touching ripples on the unloaded side of the car is not going to put your alignment out. Imagine the V8 supercars halfway through Bathurst LOL How could they make it to the finish line with all of there ripple touching.

Hey mate...its not my car, its my business partners car...we are a 2 car team...one drag and one circuit/road...and i cant drive...what use would i be?...i only found out the other day what the middle pedal was used for!. Ill stick to building engines and racing drag cars...two things ive proven im good at.

JP is the one always hanging sh1t on me mate...and talking himself up...im just returning serve.

After all the dribble he gave me at his shop the other day Dunc's you'd be backing me up.

I have admiration for the skill it takes to race a circuit car as i have done many twisty laps myself and have respect for you all. The respect just never comes back the other way and we put up with a lot of sh1t from the 'roundy roundy' brigade. So im think im more than entitled to have a little spray.

No sheepstations will be passing hands after the event and if i had a car like JP's and the skill he always tells me about, there is no way id miss out on the fun to be had racing in an event like this. I think its a bit sad really and a bad call on his behalf....and im sure on the day one he'll probably regret.

Yep, the lotus is parked for this event.

JP has offered me the drive of his car as all can see. I have not driven it that much, but it should be pretty quick around the GP. I think JP has done a 17 or 18 in it, and to be fair has not had too much experience around the GP circuit.

Looking forward to the challenge

I think my first drive of it in its current setup will be on the 5th July!!!

I think JP is thinking with his head and not his heart. Of course he wants to drive himself, but he wants the best for his business. Gives him more time to walk around the pits and answer questions about his toy.

I may be entering in my dads MX5... (1990 NA6 Turbo - 180KW @ Rear wheels) he is doing 1:23's (and he admits that i can get it fair bit bellow 1:20's) hmmm would it be competitive ?
