looks like Kel and I will be able to get the race car there for a thrash on the back track.

might need to use the z on the skidpan though its more fun there.

thats much tighter than the texikhana courses but you get the idea

Is this going to be run on a wet or dry track/skidpan?

I'll consider taking my daily driver, if a roof isn't a requirement and the ground is wet. My tyres are.................. expensive

So there shouldn't be much of a chance of us being put on the wet skidpan again? Like Last time with the motorbike people?

Also are we going to start further up the back track straight this time? Or are there going to be some more witches hats there to slow it down?

thanks

Im in, no car as i wouldnt want to take the glory away from skyline owners again.... TAXI FTW!!!!

Spectate and helping for me!!!!

Cheers mate thats appreciated - and yeah we'll most likely take you up on the offer :)

do you need a helmet for this as well or just a AASA or CAMS licence?

Helmet for back track, either is fine

IN! i will take 2 spots as i have a friend that has no decent vehicle and will be driving mine.

Done - who's the other? (is it sam?) i need to put the name on the list :D

My car won't have an engine

Can I push it around the track?

Run the stocker one?

Is the start going to be a bit further up the straight on the back track this time? or will there be some more witches hats setup on the straight to slow it down?

Start will be WAY earlier, but there will be some cones to get around before the "canyon" :)

in.

Done

So F**KIN in, did this last year been hangin out for the next one to come round.

Hook me up with an entry form & you will recieve payment asap.

So i take it you had fun last time?

Can I run 2 cars?

A fast one and a skyline

lol, so a GTR and a skyline r31?

Yes you can, but its 2 runs which means other people will be waiting so 2 entry fees. Or if you like you can do skyline on the track and toymotor on the skidpan and only pay one entry, know what i mean? So you only drive for one entry but drive a different car each time

Bugger it im in.Thats if i get enough KMS on the new motor

Ill put you on the list

Im in, no car as i wouldnt want to take the glory away from skyline owners again.... TAXI FTW!!!!

Ill bring a spare oil pump?

Is this going to be run on a wet or dry track/skidpan?

Dry skidpan, your tyres will be fine - if you're really really really worried just do the track section :D

You can have the roof down as long as you take me as passenger for a lap around the track :)

I will bring the starlet, if I they let me double enter

Read above :)

    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
