Handbreak is your friend. Practise it this time, then come and win deca next time. Evo's can be very quick in the tight stuff.

I so Want to compete, but im scarred something in my car will go "bang".. I'll just come and scope out the sitch for this time round, see what im in for.. Am I able to just rock up and be a spectator bec? I may be able to lend a hand or something? sabotage Chris's car perhaps?.

LOL - Your not invited!

The Evo handbrakes the best out of all cars I have driven and been in. Will jump in and show you if you want on one of the morning sessions so it doesnt stuff your times up. :(

Ziad - cruises to DECA are not an 'official' thing. Most people just cruise up whenever it suits them these days. The huge convoys are a thing of the past, so we wont be posting mass cruises up.

The way they've worked more recently is just by people posting their plans and others tagging along. If you are planning on leaving on Saturday morning, just start a thread with a time/place thats convenient to you and if others wish to, they can join you.

Same goes for everyone else, if you want to cruise up in convoy, just pick your departure time/location and post a thread letting people know.

No... :(

I spent time over about 4 days trying to diagnose it. Got restless and ran out of ideas so gave it to RE. Spoke to them yesterday... they don't know. Hopefully/maybe fuel pump. I didn't check that.

bloody cars, hope you make it sam...

...I have a real diff for a change... no more of that single wheel burnout rubbish

Cruise thread is up,

You could actually cruise past my place and we can cruise there together or i can meet you at Shell Warrigal rd, let me know, same to any Sth East people.

will be coming down with dilmah.

ill be bringing my Video camera with me and hopefully my camera mounts arrive if it does would there be any takers for me to mount the camera in/on your car to make a vid?

I have to pull out guys.

Work is too busy at the moment.

I'm off to NZ this morning until Friday lunchtime, then on Monday morning at 6am I fly out to WA so I simply don't have the time to spend a day up at Deca sliding around.

 :'(

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
