I'd recommend PDR-TEK: http://www.pdrtek.com.au/

He's based in SE Melb but he's mobile so he might still be able to come to you. Does a lot of stuff for both the Skylines and WRX club guys...fixed 3 dents I had and I could barely notice a mark afterwards.

John is the guy to be speaking with :)

His pricing depends on the severity of the dent and the type of access he has to the panel (inside of the panel too). It would be best to give him a call to discuss it with him so you have an accurate indication on pricing

+1 does awesome work. Dont just look at who is cheaper, get the job done from someone you know is going to do it properly.

hey guys,

is there any places in northern suburbs melbourne (or surrounding areas) that do paintless dent removal?

cheers,

dave.

Did you end up getting anyone out to fix the dent?

As I need to fix a couple of minor dents up on the GT-R.

I used Jason at Dent Vanish (0402 699 924) and was very happy with his work and prices.

Sorry for bringing up an old topic...

does anyone know a good PDR guy in Melbourne? prefably around SE area. Tried PDRTEK but that bloke never seems to answer his phone.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
