GTR factory oil pressure gauges are very slow to react and quite often are faulty or fail all together. before you start worrying too much buy or borrow a proper aftermarket oil pressure gauge and double check it. sadly though 32 GTR oil pumps often fail too in a number of ways, a common one is the screws in the backing plate coming loose which will give low oil pressure and eventually nothing at all. bottom line is don't get too stressed but definitely get it checked out to find out what's going on. best case faulty gauge. worst case faulty engine. :P

thanks for the speedy reply...how would i be able to check if the engine is no good...if it is the engine what would needed to be done as so it can be fixed???

ill check the screw in the back plating....

u want to check the screws? how are u going to achieve that...

its inside the motor.. thats a motor out job.. check ur pressures first with an oil pressure gauge from a workshop.

mine did the same showing almost no pressure.. it was just teh sender unit. it was rooted.

damn straight! take it to a mechanic to check the pressure - they can confirm if it is gauge or motor in trouble. 90% of the time it is the sender, but if you are in the 10% with bnr#@ it gets more expensive to fix the longer the car runs......
