Skyline security

Just wondering what kinda security systems you guys have on your 'lines.

I'm in the midst of purchasing a R32 and was wondering what kinda security I should get. I'm thinking either getting Quiktrak installed ($1,990 + $360 each subsequent year) - this is satellite tracking and they can shut the car down at any time or the Brant Nemesis ($990) - this is like a 6 or 7 point immobiliser, black wiring etc...claimed to be top of the range and highly recommended by the insurance companies. Also been said that the wiring diagram is only available internally (ie. not available on the 'net).

What do you guys reckon? I live in a pretty shonky area (Punchbowl, NSW) so I'd like to lower my insurance and highten my security a bit.

I have Quiktrak In my gtr...It worked for me...i havent heard of Nemesis but sounds good,...I recommend QuikTrak

T88, Quicktrak worked? Do you mean your car was stolen and found with the tracking device? If, so did they catch the thieves?

Vision is pretty good - All black wiring & insurance friendly.

I have a Mongoose, it has black wiring and all that stuff and is insurance friendly too.

yer brant nemisis is pretty good, as is mongoose and flashpoint as far as i know

I use brant but ive modified it with some extra bits and pieces. Brant have a good name and gave me a discount for being a club member.

I think the Quicktrack is Spread Spectrum radio , not Satelite - I also think they are upgrading their network.

I reckon a triple plate clutch is good security - no phucker will be able to drive it !
