archie01
It's hard to say as it depends on ur cars set up and power and what time others have done with the same car as yours. IMO a modded gtr on semi comp tyres should do sub 1.40 with an ok driver....not sure how useful that is for you.. Roy
Hey David, it all comes down to tyres. If you have good tyres and piloting it pretty well, then you will be able to tip in to the 38-39s. If you are running street tyres then you are doing well to get much under 1:44. As Dick Johnson used to say. "Winton, why dont we just have a race around my clothes line?" Roy
No worry about the weight, i was just taking a cheap shot as the new Work rims are over 3kg heavier each corner, and they still dont clear my brakes so not the smartest upgrade i have made Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/229614-going-to-winton-tomorrow-what-are-the-usual-lap-times/#findComment-4040997 Share on other sites
Marlin
So you've confirmed they're heavier? That's no good mate, bet they look uber schweet though! Will a bit of grinding see them clear your mammoth brakes?
