Carrera Cup And Mini Cup Tyre Sizes

Does anyone know the tyre sizes for both of these classes??

And do porsche wheels fit gtr?

The cup cars use centre lock wheels, so they're a no go for your car.

According to their site, they use 24/64 - 18 size slicks in Carrera Cup, not sure about Porsche cup.

Porsche = 5x130

Skyline = 5x114.3

You can get ghetto hub spacers that convert the Porsche lugs into 5x114.3 for easier wheel choice and the opposite if you wanted to run a Porsche wheel or <insert possible other Euro wheel> on your 5x114.3 hub.

LOL, unless you have centre lock hubs mate, no chance. even out old 996 cup car has centre lock 18inch BBS wheels.

you could fit the fronts off a porsche cup car all round on your GTR but in my experience the rears are too wide for a 32, could be ok on 33 or 34 though.

the mini challenge don't run slicks, they use R comps....

not sure why you'd want to buy porsche size/offset/PCD wheels to put on a GTR anywy though. what is wrong with the 1million different types of wheels available for GTRs? we are blessed with so much choice of wheels made specifically to suit the car, there is no need to tax them from other cars.

The offset if wrong for a GT-R too, especially with big brakes.

wheels might have been a bonus thats all..

perhaps the mini might be better as i have 17's i am not sure about them yet.

A heap of guys in porka road cars buy then second hand up here $100 each used iirc.

better times outta them used than new RE55s... and a 1/4 of the price...

If I recall they are 255x18 or something, I will see if I can look back through some e-mails...

yes they run a dunlop 215-45-17. we run one and have LOTS of tyres building up n3ed to get rid of a few soon.

same as the 24-64-18 cup tyres... needs them gone.

I've been thinking about running used 24-64-18 on my gtr for a while. Get the tyres and a cage for less than a set of RE55's. I haven't looked into the tyre dimension to closely though for a 18x10 rim.

Try the carrera cup website mate, just type carrera cup australia into google

You can do better than that!

Look up the team name, then type it into google and it will bring up where the workshop is based who prepares the cars. Then go from there.
