you will regret waking up and not seeing your car there and having to drive your parents 4cyl shopping car to find another car.

but you may also regret not selling it. somthing may pop up in the month and you'd wish you had a spare 25k lying around.

if you love the car so much .. replace the wheels with the old ones you had prio to auto salon. and bargin with him.

you may find a mint r34 gtt manual for under 20k .... extra couple of thou to pump into it  !

my opinion sell . but a cheap one and make it better. if someone offered me 25k for my stagea i'd do it , and get a manual one :)

hmm would she wanna go back though? in years i mean...an r34 obviously being newer then any gtr 33 she can get. sure it is faster, better engine, 4wd...but more probs in the long run?

thats why i say if she still wants a skyline/coupe keep the car otherwise sell it for something else...even if she did sell it for 25k her wheels, tyres and bodykit are probably worth 5 grand anyway so it'll be like being where she started if she decided to buy a cheaper 34 for around 20k.

it would only benefit if she got a super cheap one for 15k lolz. EVO FTMFW!!! or even a manual chaser!!! chasers are a bigger car though but oh so hot.

Obviously you haven't driven a GTR.

I sold my 34 GT-T and bought an R32 GTR. Have never looked back.

And 25k, I would JUMP on it, I sold mine for 22k, mint condition and more mods. Market sucks. :D

good on ya mate but we're not talking about u...we're talking about her and if anything i know for a fact she wouldn't buy a r32 as i do know her.

her fiance owns a r32 gtr and loves it but don't think she'd have one for herself...correct me if i'm wrong ferah..just seems that ur more into the newer, stock side of things.

You made a general statement champ....would she wanna go back. But now you know for sure?

Make up your mind.

I couldn't care less if you know her lol, I'm just saying, one would not regret going from an R34 GT-T to an R33 or R32 GTR.

A few things you have to ask yourself Ferah,

- if your car is financed you have to pay that off and than get another loan to buy the new car (car loan vehicle must be 7 years and under). is it worth the hassle?

- is there any other car you want to own and would it be as fun/cool as this car? in the end it's you driving/paying for it.

RX7 on your P's? lol dont bother ferah

but ye 25k sell it. i just bout my 34 with 65k on the clock and mods listed below in my sig for $20k.

so ye $25k sell it. depends on how long you will be on your p,s for. if not long get the RX try not to get busted while driving it or just leave it at home and start driving when off your p's

was gonna say get an evo 8 MR but you dont want one and RX7 would trump that any days in sexyness lol

Ferah, GTT and GTR are both illegal on your P's and with you number plate you are not really hiding what's under the bonnet :P

haha

SELL IT

doubt you will get more than high teens when you go to sell in future.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
