Might be too many cars for 1 grid me thinks!

nah, most of those new teams will get knocked backs this time around. probably only USF1 make it in. and I think marco means 2010 as 2009 is half way over...

to be honest all the politics nonsense detracts from the sport, not adds to it. I like the races, the drivers, the cars and the development behind the cars. but all the bullshit arguments is boring as hell.

The 2 stooges who think they are making the sport better are actually making it worse !!!

Mosely and Ecclestone bunch of old hags should just drop dead already !!!

I seriously hope ferrari and other teams pull out if the fia have there way, then watch the viewers go down by a massive margin.

I don't see why FOTA can't replace the FIA entirely and govern the sport itself... just my 2c

Max has just nvoted them to do exatly that....and you know what, I think it would be great to see it happen. Coupled with the major teams having sister teams using the same chassis, with no testing it means the data can be shared with the sister cars....and same team/engineering costs can be shared accross two teams and sponsors and give us grids of up to 26-28 cars

Ferrari will be competitive for sure and I would like to see nothing more but I expect Brawn to be still the ones to beat.

Max thinks the 9 teams united under FOTA can break away and create their own series.... I say he's calling their bluff! Max is a fkn tosser :)

Not sure if it's been posted here but www.jamesallenonf1.com has great insight on F1, the ex ITV commentator. Never liked him as a commentator but he has some awesome opinions. I tip Red Bull for this one, but ahh so hard to fault Brawn. This season is gonna be boring soon...

practice 2 on now. Vettel has stopped on the track after damaging a gearbox or driveshaft on the kerbs.

it'll be a big job for RBR to get him back on the track and up to speed for the weekend. i presume they are keen to get data on the new aero gear so having him sit on the side of the track will be pretty disappointing for the organisation.

the track seems to be pretty green with lots of drivers going on off track safaris.

Well i need to believe that Webber is the king of understatement, so reading hsi Friday report i am thinking he has plenty of car under him and looking at a good quali run. P3 today will help paint a better picture. With Vettel's engine drama it looks like luck the past two race weekends has swung Webbers way, hopefully that equates to some momentum and Webber puts it on the front row.

No doubt Vettel is a gun qualifier, but i cant believe that Webber sint good enough to pull a lap sooner or later.

The dark horse for the weekend will be Massa, Rubens, Massa and Webber for the podium. Not sure of respective positions yet

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
