you couldnt have a race more stiched up 10 laps in than kimi has right now

force india chasing him down

... ow noes

...

NOOOOO!! Webbers race screwed, not sure if if agree with that call. The ESPN commentators are saying it was tight bt fair. Oh well, there goes the season

Dont know what happened to Webber being 4 or so laps longer then the Fisi etc

IMO, the release was borderline but would've been fine if Webber didn't wheelspin so much and take as long to get going...

GO KIMI!!!!!

Oh, and Fisi, stop bitching about KERS. It's not as if it's exclusive to Ferrari and McLaren...Everyone has/had the option to run it, and chose not too. They get an 8 second boost and have to carry it around for the other 1:40 at Spa.

1) Nice work Kimi!!

2) WTF FISI?!?!?!?!?!?! Where the hell did that come from? a bit of magic from the old Spa master?? Congrats buddy, you just saved your career, fine fine drive!!!!

3) RBR, WHY OH WHY! You could've gone nice and conservative with Webber, that might have been the WDC right there, better work hard right till season's end lads...

4) Can't wait to see those silly wheel covers go...

5) I love Spa.

6) I love Eau Rouge.

7) Nice drive by Sebvet to get 3rd, nice nice drive, might have saved his WDC pursuit there..

I only watched the last 8 laps so I need to watch a replay of the entire race

1. Nice drive by Kimi

2. Really great drive by Fisi...Great job advert if the rumor is true that he's jumping into the second Ferrari at Monza. Force India will be extemelly pleased as they now get more TV money.

3. Button can count himself lucky that Rubens only got 2 points and Webber finished outside of the points

4. With 5 races to go - when is team orders going to play a part??

all I can think is that webber had that P3 in his bag until the pit fark up and it all went downhill from there. it should have been webber P3 with vettel about P5... how can they continue to get these marginal little f**kups. for most guys 9 times out of 10 it would go there way and be ruled close but no penalty. for webber 9 out of 10 times it will be rules un-safe and penalty worthy. they should keep that in mind when making decisions for him.

Looking at my Calender i have 11 days off in Septemeber before my contract ends at end of October. So fits in nicely with Monza.

If Count Hardcore is up for Japanese GP i may be able to push my leave to around the 23rd or so to make the Japanese GP.

And of course Abu Dhabi on 1st November...just need to keep Webber in the hunt so i am extra motivated to go to these races rather then go and boo Louise or Buttton coasting to victories.

LOL, they are over 60 seconds a lap quicker then i was in the little Caterham :D How friggin fast must those things be since i was way quicker then 996 GT2s etc

it was funny mate watching them after your laps. i mean you were bullshit fast, nice tight laps at spa, but just the sheer speed of them between the corners was mental! having a real comparison like that from a super fast road car with a bloodnut hustling it along nicely to an F1 car just shows how they really are a whole new type of speed... well except for badoer. I reckon you could have given him a shock in your caterham mate...

    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
