Car Doesnt Turn Off!

Hey guys,

I have a 1996 R33 and it has a little problem it doesnt turn of when you remove the key... so you turn the key of a take the key out and it will keep running for about 30 secs..

Any help would be great

No turbo timer has a autowatch alarm which doesnt have a turbo timer built in and it has only just started doing it

sure it doesn'thave one?

try leaving the handbrake off and see if that trips it...

my guess is that your alarm has a timer inbuilt and you have inadvertantly activated it with a key sequence

^^^^Dont laugh mine was doing the same a few months ago. I ended up reseting the computer a few times and it went away. Mine would stay on for 2 minutes and yes no turbo timer!!

O bloody funny ay cant stop laughing myself great add to your post count ... No my alarm model is 446RLi which doesnt have the turbo run on feature

there is still a possibility that there is a turbo timer hidden somewhere.

Mine had a harness hidden under the dash.

mine is hidden under the dash as well and it took asking on here to figure it out....

It was neatly tucked up where it was next to impossible to find (which is a very good thing I might add)

yeah, I'm with either turbo timer,

or if your's was converted to manual, check the auto switch, I remember mine broke, meaning I couldn't switch it on or off, had to bypass it with a switch, it's in the ignition column I think?

Thats great advice, after you reset the ecu the bill for having to get the pfc retuned certainly will hurt.
