Hey all,

Decided to sell my R34 GTR East Bear Sigma Reclining Seats. They are practically brand new with only a couple of hundred Km's usage. The seats are to small for my frame.. :P

I will upload some pics tonight..

They will bolt up to R33, R32 Gtst and GTR, will not directly bolt on to an R34 GTT.

Im after $1400 pick up.

Cheers

Johno

Please note this pic was taken for the Nengun website..

I also have a set of Superior CIA leather seat covers. These are the black leather, red stitching with carbon look seat pads set. These can be fitted yourself at home but look better when professionally done. Here's the website: http://www.superior-cia.com/SHOP/229479/229481/list.html Almost 70,000 yen brand new. These are still new and going for just. $600.

Cheers,

My shoulders are a bit too broud for the seats, the top of the seats are concave and it pushes my shoulders too far forward.

They are the same size as Standard R34 GTR seats..

Cheers,

thanks for the offers guys, but I'm gonna stick with my standard r33 seats for now. would prefer a cash sale..

roy, I don't think the offsets or size will suit.. I'm running grex brakes on the gtr.

hey man will u go trade for TE37's 17x9.5 +12 with cash my way?

sorry mate, need 18's as a minimum.. 17's won't clear the brakes...

Hi, Are east bear seats adr approved? Also do you have pics of the actual seat.

Hey mate,

To be honest I have no idea if they are ADR approved or not.. I did a quick google search but couldnt see anything relating to Aust standards..

Pics of actual seats attached, please note they look much better in person. Dodgy 2mega pixel camera makes them look pretty average.

Jarrah gets first chance at the seats though, he was the first to contact me about them. Then Steve and so on..

Cheers,

Johno

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
