rotormaster and pac performance were awesome to watch. Massively quick cars. Pacs mx6 on its first pass in the day did a launch and then shut off but managed a 1.0 60 foot which as u people would know is really chomping. massive potential left in that car.

it was an awsome weekend, my mate Nick ran a new PB on both days ending up with a best of 12.04 @ 110MPH in his VR4 powered GSR. He made it too the 3rd round but was beaten by the gold rigoli wrx which ran a mid 9 i think.

GTR 700 was a big dissapointment, i understand how hard it is to get a car like that sorted but i was so keen to see it do at least 1 full noise pass. It did a wicked 1/2 track run for his ANDRA licence on sat which reminded me of the HKS R33 GTR luanching at drag combat. He then came back for a demo run but couldn't get it into gear for the burnout and then that was it! Didn't even see it in the pits today :`(

The croyden GTR from NZ did well on sat with a couple of full noise runs. That thing is nuts off the line with the craziest limiter launch's i've ever seen! He lined up today and did a mid 8 sec pass which was great but then that was it! He only ran once on race day!

So after all that dissapointment thank god for kier wilson in his JMS R32 skyline! This 3L NOS powered MONSTER of a skyline was the high-light of the weekend for me, almost everytime he came out he ran a 9 sec pass with amazing consistancy and reliability. All on STREET TYRES!!!!

Theo ran a 10 in his R32 GTR and also entertained the people with big burnouts including one which went to 3/4 track!!!

The www.101motorcafe.com R33 GTR won the modified street class with consistant low 11 sec passes and great promotional girls!

and then there were the rotors, spluttering and brapping there way into stage and doing some very impresive wheel stands. Apart from "smoking" Joe Signorelli's amazingly consistant 7 sec runs the rest of the rotors didn't really go all that quick compared to past jambo's. Noticely absent were some of the quicker PAC Performance cars, these guys usally rock up with heaps of 8 sec cars and even a few 7 sec ones.

Angus from fullboost.com.au had his RX7 going with an amazing 580rwhp this car was a weapon and Angus was aiming for 9's. After a rocky start on sat, which resulted in a shattered gearbox, he burnt some mid night oil and replaced the box but unfortunetly broke the radiator when it came down off the jack. Last min repairs were done and he ended up running a wheel standing 9.99!!

NZ's fastest fwd was a bit of a fizzer, the quickest i saw it run was a high 10 i think. The integra lost its title to the My105 Online front wheel drive CRX which ran a low 9.

Dom Rigoli's new red wrx wagon set the new 4 cylinder 4WD record with a very quick 9.1 sec pass

The freestlye motocross riders finished off the day with a jump made out of 2 trailers that were towed onto the track. Unfortunetly the 1st guy to jump it overshot the landing by about 2m and broke both his ankles! The other 2 guys carried on with the show and pulled some sweet tricks including huge no hander landers!

All in all it was a good weekend of racing and i can't wait till next year! With a bit of luck i'll be racing my R32 with some RB25DET power and hopfully some 12sec passes ;D

The sun was bad. We had drunk 4 litres of water in 2 hours!!

I thought "yeah.. 4 bottles will be fine" .... PFFT.

I dont know why they don't hold the event in winter. It would make heaps more sense!!

Maybe they need women to organise it. Someone with brains anyway :)

Ants

I heard the comentators mention it.

heh, i didn't realise i'd writen so much untill i posted it :)

I should probably have mentioned Archie's cosmo/berreta rotor but it never really made a clean pass. He was having heaps of transmission issues but ran a few 8sec passes in the end.

Tony Khoury's triple turbo triple rotor ford probe also had alot of clutch dramas but ran a couple of 8sec passes on sunday with some nice burnouts.

The Pac performance mx6 was running for the 1st time so i wasn't really expecting much, it did mostly shake down passes but pulled a few full noise low 8sec passes. I think he even recorded a flat 1sec 60' time which is just amazing! This car is definatly going to run a 6, they built it in acordence with NHRA rules so i expect its going to go over to the state for a tour.

    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
