Car : 2003 Mazda 6

Colour: Metallic Silver

Best Feature: 4 cup holders in the front, sunroof, leather, reverse parking sensors, 7 speaker Bose sound system with 6 disc in dash stacker, 10.1L/100km/s (Compared to 22L/100kms in the beast).

Simply put it in drive and off you go. No hassles, no worries of anything breaking.

Worst Feature: None really to speak of. I can't complain about it.

Performance: Can't do 10.4 sec 1/4 mile passes.

Would I drive it again by choice: I bought it so I guess yes...

What would prefer as a daily driver: BMW E46 M3.

My Car: r33 , this is the only car I own

Car driven most days: My r33 , except if i have to park it somewhere for a while then I take my mums 1999 glxi laser.

Performance: skyline = fun , laser = automatic

Complaints: Parking and leaving my car is sometimes a little worrying.

The laser is automatic

I would like a 360 modena in red as my daily driver :P

OK, this thread has suddenly taken a feminine turn for the better. Why does my temperature go up whenever a girl who's into cars is around?:P

my car is the only one i own but i dont drive it daily though

1989 r31 silo

likes: goes alright for an inline 6 3L, looks cool, beats most commonwhores.....good fuel consumption

dislikes: 2 slow for my liking but not $$ means no performance

gets treated like sh*t most times i drive

hmmm everybody is posting their skyline which is the only car they own :P Don't think that was the intention, but hey, I like it!

I think owning a 2nd car is great, and I wish I had one by choice (and one that wasn't quite so trashy) rather than necessity while mine is away.. Seeing as you have got to spend at least $800 running each year ($530 for rego + assuming $270 for 3rd party), not the cheapest thing.

Then again, if you just think you're saving $800 on possible damage (scratches, assholes stealing stuff out of there) or just petrol you'd use in your skyline in that year, then it doesn't seem so bad.

As stated by Pred...

Car: 1988 Lada Niva Cabrio

Worst feature: Noisy, agricultural and generally uncivilised.

Best feature: See above ;)

Performance: Hahaha!

Interesting feature: So many to mention:

- Was orginally owned by Andrew Daddo (yes, the TV guy) - I am the 2nd owner

- Has a crank-start (ala Model-T Ford) for when the battery is flat (note I say WHEN not IF)

- Only 100 were ever made as a convertible by Lada

- Spare tyre is under the bonnet

- Lada Niva came 2nd and 3rd in Paris-Dakar in 1982-84 to a works Mitsu Pajero

I have many more 'crazy' Lada facts if anyone cares...

Dream daily driver: WRX STi Hatch, Liberty B4, E55 (yeah) or, this ...

Is called the Niva Marsh and can be purchased new in Russia (about $40k - cheaper than a helicopter).

Was developed as an extreme all-terrain vehicle that would cause minimal environmental damage (unlike a tracked vehicle). It's actually amphibious (has a small propeller out the back) and can float on those tyres. Pity it still has the 1960's 1600 OHC carby Fiat engine.

Pretty cool though:)

My car Skyline is my daily drive as well. Wish I did have enought money to have a second bomb as a daily drive.

I even use my Skyline to do home delivery around Prahan area dude!!! Clocking up heaps of Ks, should see their face tho when I rock up with loud exhaust and stickers all over my car hehe.

I tell them this is my delivery car, should see what car I have parked in the garage at home!!! hehe

Car : Toyota Soarer TT

Colour: Metalic Green

Year: 1991

Best Feature: Its a TT, The uber loud exhaust which is about to be muted and has got it 2 EPAs and a Canary in less than 2 months. Comfy ride

Worst Feature: Its an auto, uber loud exhaust :) which gives u a migrane when your hungover.

Performance: Pretty damn good.

Would I drive it again by choice: Yes and No

What would prefer as a daily driver: Mini S (the proper ones)

Dislike Factor: 3/10

Car : Nissan Skyline GTST

Colour: Black Pearl

Year: 1992

Best Feature: Its a skyline what more need i say?

Worst Feature: Theres a funny squeak coming from somewhere and it drives me mental... seems like its coming from the front left wheel. All my money goes into the damn thing.

Performance: Good all round.

Would I drive it again by choice: sif a question of would i!

What would prefer as a daily driver: same as above

Dislike Factor: 1/10

daily driver: ae85 toyota with 4AGE engine

best feature: it has an 8,200rpm redline and sounds absolutely crazy in high revs, massive induction sounds like a monster.

worst feature: takes about 50 years to reach 3,000rpm and has an old man farty sorta smell in cabin.

performance: it goes very quick after 5,000rpm. but at low range is incredibly sluggish.

mileage: nearly 300,000

thing is, im supposed to drive it to uni everyday, but i always take my 32.

preferred daily driver: riced up turbo echo or GT starlet. love those cars! and they suit me coz im lil.

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
