yeh mr spencer wat are you whinging about if you pay 1200 a week in tax you must be pulling in around 1600 a week in the hand!

anyways mine is going straight on to my ge creditline for my new wheels i got, 12 months interest free.

as much as i would love to use towards a set of coilovers, i really have to pay some debt off first haha

Big Kev the second is paying for my Power-FC re-tune for my RS4s as at the SAU-Vic dyno day my peak power was only 110awkw at 4000rpm and the power went down from there?

Damn, that's pretty piss-poor, I managed to drag up 126awkw on my stocker just after I bought it...

might buy some whiteline swaybars and get a tune :)

Good luck with that, I'm having trouble getting Whiteline to admit thay have made an adjustable HD bar for the GT-R...

But back OT, when I get my moolah next month, it will help pay for things I've already bought!

might get a few items from the whiteline catalog, or nistune setup, or put it towards a new tig welder (hello custom IC/intake piping). either way i'm happy, i love getting something for nothing

Trust me, we will be paying it back with interest in the long run!

... and here I was thinking that we have already paid for it with interest over the past 13 years...

... I still think that 1 initial payment to "the people" and then tax cuts would have helped our economy in the long run.

I know I would be happier to spend if I had an extra $50-100 per week in my pocket than a $900 lump sum.

Looks like I will be putting the money in to help with the house deposit (the land is ours already  )

Agreed tax cuts would of been a beter option, i guess that would of taken to long to filter through where as the lump sum is almost instant.

I should really be getting stuff for the house were building now, but meh i need the car fixed to.

Already bought myself a MSI Wind netbook ($600). The M35 is due for a big-ish service soon too so the rest will go towards that - have some small issues to fix up on the car - just minor stuff mostly.

I was going to use mine towards a new front bumper, hks split dump and maybe get a new Greddy intercooler.. but decided to use it to upgrade my current PC and use my current parts to build another server for my house.. so car's going to have to wait for tax time..

new fandangle honda mower and whipper snapper  ... mrs said its gotta go to house stuff... shes buying a dyson... so ill get some new toys... they may not be the power fc that i want.. but they have engines, make noise, and live in the garage... so all good.

Maybe you should get an iPod 'cause your wife is going to be talking about the Dyson in very excited tones for a while.

Can't go past a Honda mower... VTEC? :D

A mate at work bought a Bogan Tv. It lasted 2 days. Has been 4 weeks waiting for it to be fixed.

I picked up a 50" Panasonic full HD yesterday.

Great picture

    • (it is a brand new ported mellings pump) I suspect the lack of pressure is due to the leak. It was *not* that low in other logs of oil pressure in the past. It wasn't that hot either, but not far off.
    • Would a Mellings oil pump be a viable option  From my time with a LS, and talking to tuners and LS specialists, the "weak" OEM oil pump is one of the first things they recommend to swap out if I was going to give the engine any high RPM I opted for a Mellings high volume, with the high pressure springs and I never had a issue with it Cost wise they are not expensive in the scheme of things
    • Just bought a 2002 Stagea 250tRS VR-X Four AERO VQ25DET and spent the last two weekends cleaning and detailing it.. still have to do the wheels and the engine bay but the rest of it came up nice. Imported 2011 to S.A. and I'm the third owner since it was imported. I met the guy who brought it over, he went to Japan and picked out the car, bought it and ordered the wheels. He also gave me a list of stuff he did to the car with receipts. Coil overs (I have the original springs), 3" exhaust from the dump pipe back no cat, Custom dump pipe,(I have the original exhaust), Plenum spacer, 18" custom Work XSA wheels (need restoring, I've made a start..), Shift kit put through the 5 speed tiptronic auto, TV and menus/screens changed to english, Australian DTV tuner installed in rear. I've just had four new discs and new pads as well as all the fluids including the brake fluid replaced. I have all the receipts for the last 15 years and the import papers in a nice folder. Car looks great, goes like hell but fuel economy is not a thing lol.. pics next..
    • I ended up in this rut again lol, and used a shit ton of filler. One thing I can't understand is, even after using a big long block and going in long X pattern strokes, I always end up at bare metal again with no filler, and my repair started at one end of the door and now I've chased my tail to almost the other end of the door. I was thinking of hitting the panel with a hammer where it might be a high spot and making everything low then filling it, I did this on a small section on my other door by mistake and I think I fixed it lol. Is this a bad idea? The other thing is with guidecoat, whether it's the powder or spray, after I sand all the guide coat off, it doesn't reveal anything for me in terms of high spots and low spots and makes it especially hard when it's bare metal (at least in powdered form), am I doing something wrong here, or likely a high spot I keep going over and creating valleys? Lastly, stupid question but, is it possible that after sanding if I only sand over the filler area where I know to be a dent that it's impossible for me to dig into that dent? Unless there are other problems which I missed.
