what engine and drivetrain it come with from factory. the interior and exterior colour from factory. and any factory fitted options, like a sunroof. Fast is mainly used to get part numbers for you car, enter your vin number -> click on the part you want -> it gives you the right part number for you car.

Jules

VIN pls. in you case GH-NM35-000000

being an AXIS when we pop that into FAST it will generate a special screen saying autech version.

I've finally managed to install FAST on my laptop a month or so ago, but have NFI how to use it. I know what kind of info it can provide, but how to access that info is beyond me at this stage... :P

Just whipped this up. Hope it helps Nick!

Getting started instructions attached.

Ok.

I like to open up the FAST Menu (as opposed to opening up FAST for Windows)... Don't ask me why though.

Step 1. Select FAST from the menu

FASTmenu.jpg

Step 2. Put in your VIN (No this is not mine)

FASTVin.jpg

FAST will display info of your car

FASTVininfo.jpg

Step 3. Open General Index - this is a way you can find out specific part numbers

FASTGeneralIndex1.jpg

Step 4. Select which category the info for the parts your are after are in. For this example I will be pulling up part numbers for NM35 Stamped Stainless Steel Door Sill Trim

*Note* It may take a bit of searching to find exactly what you are after

FASTGeneralIndex2.jpg

Step 5. To select a picture, simply left click on it then click "OK". If you have chosen the wrong picture, you MUST right click it to de-select, then select another pic by left clicking.

*Notice the "Page forward" and "Page back" buttons at the bottom of the screen.

And there you have it!

That isn't all you need to do though iamhe77, just to add to what you have already posted: (in my examples i used my vin but blanked out a bit of it.)

depending on how you have done your part search, via a vin number or just a model code (you can enter just WC34 for example and browse all the parts for the WC34 series stagea). you may have to cycle through the illistrations to get the one displaying the parts you are after.

after you choose the part number on the illistration you have to go back out to the first screen with the cars details displayed. you will see the part you just selected will be listed here. i have picked an alternator/fan belt. to get the full nissan part number you need to click a button up the top, shown in this pic:

post-34711-1240469796_thumb.jpg

after you click that your part number will be displayed

post-34711-1240469831_thumb.jpg

sometimes there will be more than one partnumber for a part, especially when you are searching parts via model code, you will get this screen pop up, all you do is select the part number with the correct year model, engine type/transmission type you are after. it can also pop up if a part has been subceeded with a newer/different part.

another thing that you may be interested in is the factory fitted options for you car

Help me!! LOL

I downloaded the 1+gb file and I've just followed all of the instructions in the download and installed a1, a2, a3, b1 & b2 (JDM files?) and followed the setup stuff.

However, when I try to access M35 within FAST it's as if it doesn't exist. I can find WC34's etc but no M35.

Am I missed a pack with th3 M35's or something?

If I enter my VIN it states

"model series can not be found for this vin no

input model or model series"

Anyone know what's wrong?

if you have downloaded it of the web then it is most probably the older version that only covers up to about 2001-2002. this is the version i have and cant see new model stageas and skylines.

i'm not sure if you can download the newer version of fast yet, i know a few people have a copy of it courtesy of Chook.

So I assume that means uninstall, delete everything and start another 1+ gb download?

I thought it would just have been a case of adding another pack with all the details in it :P

Does anyone need a copy of the old one? I can burn to DVD free of chage.

not really. there are a lot of FAST dumps out there- torrent is your friend. I know there is one from 2004ish there. (mine is 2009 JDM,USDM,ADM - I can't copy mine.)

    • I can ship Nismo floor mats to you: https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/nismo-floor-mats-for-skyline-r33-bcnr33-stagea-wgnc34?_pos=1&_sid=9278c1467&_ss=r
    • Here's the link: https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6642/misc/G49?frame_no=WGNC34-137122 What you think about it? The same product i found on nengun: https://www.nengun.com/oem/parts/40567/MiPwn5qAMfCfmpxHNDnwn5q9MDAx8J-QiW9sZC1qcC0xMTAtRzQ5LS0wMDE/Floor+Carpet+%2F+Mat+2/0688339eba149c19 Bot i have spoken to 😅 ensured me, that mats are 100% original, oem product. I have my doubts. I also heard what you mentioned, that nengun often offers items that are actual not available... On the other hand mats i found on japanese yahoo or ebay are in poor condition and still quite expensive so i'd rather wait for some better offers. My location - Poland. We literaly don't have ANY market for used Stagea parts so need to search outside Europe.
    • You can’t see much on the other side as the lcd is there I don’t think it’s the same as the m33 beside it as the markings on top is not the same was hoping someone had a good quality photo or if they just happened to have the unit in hand, quickly take the cover off and take a photo to clearly show the marking on top to identify the diode   the unit is currently with an electronics repair shop so I can’t take another photo at the moment hopefully they are smart enough to know if it’s a zener diode or not
    • I'd be very surprised if you can buy new OEM mats. But if you can, I want some too!  Do you have links to the variations you found? Also, where are you located? I found that Nengun is happy to list items to purchase but when you do buy them you'll get an email that it's actually discontinued. As far as I know the variations in floor mats are different colour schemes as well as automatic and manual having a slightly different shape. The automatic ones fit into a manual car without issues, but I think you'd have trouble fitting the other way around. I have photos that show the shape difference if you care. FWIW I bought sets of used floor mats in decent condition at yahoo auctions.
    • Hi 🙋‍♂️. Just bought my Unicorn but the interior need some minor work so it would match my expectations ;). I noticed it is hard to get used oem floor mats in good condition so i started to dig if there's any chance to buy set of new ones. I found two websites - nengun and amayama and it looks like one can still buy factory new floor mats in Japan, but thers a small issue. Some mats (i assume genuine, oem ones) are marked as G4900 and these are "discontinued". The ones you can buy are marked as G4911 but i have no idea if these are also oem, made by other producer or some lower quality replacements that looks entirely different. Can anyone help? 😃  P.s. there is also some strange indication - 0V005, 0V015 and 0V505. Any idea what does it mean? Would appreciate any help with this 🙏
