Oh yeah count me in on the breaky as well Ben but you know my special needs :)

Abe i am still going to be here in the Bridge on Friday and i also think that a whole bunch of people are going to be making a little pitstop at the bridge BP.....and the road is pretty straight forward from here to loxton via karoonda i think.......Ben said something on the lines of meeting up here at around 1.30-2pm? isnt that right Ben?

Pete just give me a quick call as soon as you guys exit the freeway into MB and i will make my way to the BP

Cheers

Correct 1:30 meet at the BP in MB, 2pm departure. I'd like to arrive in loxton with some sunlight still ;P

Luke, if I was coming... I'd give you a good run for your money in regards to drinking!

That was at 10am on the morning of We Love Sounds.

It started off as a innocent breakfast drinking session with the crew... then I finished a whole bottle of CC.

Am i ready for the weekend now?!....Yes, sort of.

Car is back, and running nicely, tires have been rotated...just need to wash, wax etc now. I still need to ring up the Hotel and organize the 2 extra people in my room.

So meeting at Murray Bridge BP @ 1:30pm...i am there.

as per my last post re meet spot and departure, depending what time Shane finishes up Friday lunch will determine what time he and I will leave.

He said that he was hoping to get away a bit earlier if possible though.

No need to wait for us if you need to get going sooner though......we won't be offended :)

hmmmz

me n luke still havnt recieved anything and i have just checked and the cash hasnt come out the bank account for the cheque.

hopefully they just holding it there for me instead of trying to send it out last minute.

Thanks guys, unfortunately my front bumper is a bit worse for wear, but there isnt much I can do at this stage. The damaged bumper is in that pic ^ so its not that in your face.

So I guess I will see you guys tomorrow....

I'm going to grab some tape before I start work tonight because one of the major mounts on my bar is snapped, and I added more but just incase....

So Where are the southish ppl meeting tomorrow? Or is it just 1.30pm at murry bridge?

Cheers.

I am picking my mate up between 11-12, and then making my way to Murray Bridge via the freeway, so i should be at Murray Bridge at about 12:3-/1:30. My car should be looking good for the show :) , spent all of today washing it, running a clay bar over it, polishing it...and now waxing it, currently in the process of taking the wax off at 9pm :)

    • I've looked up the parts number (41011AL501). It's around $700 OEM. Usually our Infiniti G35 here in Canada have interchangeable parts with my Stagea but the parts number are not the same. I have looked around and it seems the JDM 2005 V35 Skyline (which is the same as our G35) has the same caliper but I cannot confirm. And I can't find a repair kit. The inner brake pads drags on the rotor, seems to be rusty piston. Thanks for the info by the way
    • This coupled with 6-9 speed autos with ridiculously short gearing is why these modern shitbox cars always seem so fast off the line. If it wasn't for those things, Raptors would not seem fast. The problem we have is there is a driveability gap between a more gentle take off and a wheelspinning sideways launch. The difference between ankle flex required to achieve one and ankle flex required to achieve the other is about 0.5°.
    • Yeah I think I'm also with the opposite here. It's 'hard to keep up with traffic' because in the real world I'm accelerating with 15% throttle and they are pinning it. It feels like I'm being an overt dickhead at anything above 15% throttle, so the car sounds like I'm being an overt dickhead to keep up with/get ahead of traffic when I'm really just trying to drive with traffic. There would be no issue 'keeping up with traffic' if we used the same level of throttle input/aggression to drive around. People really do just drive around with their foot nearly pinned in econoboxes.
    • To be fair it's the other way around. 300kw is boring in a modern Golf or BMW. They are so competent / well-engineered / devoid of emotion that you have to go stupid fast to feel anything. Whereas the <300kw RB still makes all the right noises and it feels good to drive. Can pull off at the lights with the turbo whooshing and the blow-off pssshing and feel like the coolest kid on the block. Just don't look to the side where you'll see the bored housewifes in their shitbox Yaris/Corolla/Camry that kept up because you didn't go fast at all
    • 300kW is so boring in a Skyline, you'll get spanked by someone's mum's Golf with Alibaba pipes, and an email tune.
