We currently have 27 vehicles on our compliance list and we are about to add 2 more, Both the Nissan Cube and the Honda Civic EP3.

What we need a Test Vehicle of both types for our compliance testing. The turn around would be 3 to 6 months, but it would be a free compliance. Car of course we have to be clean, no rust and as close to factory condition as possible. It would have to come to Melbourne firstly of course but we could send it off from there.

If you are interested email us at [email protected] or call on 03 9415 7150.

Regards,

Paul @ Carizma

The cube needs to be a 1.4 Ltr, Auto up to 12/2005

The Civic EP3 Type R needs to be up till 12/2003

quick question, would it be cube gen 2 or 3? not sure which engine/trans choices are on the possible raws list.

not interested in doing the 04 model EP3s? or did the have the facelift during 03 sometime? I'm keen on one of the later EP3s with the slightly updated front end. just can't remeber off the top of my head if that occurred in 03 or 04 model?

Hey Baron,

We will eventually, it would require a new emissions test, so down the track yes but in the short term we are gonna start with up to 12/2003

cool. so I am right that the facelift EP3 with the different lights/bumper/etc is 04 onwards? I am a long way from being an EP3 expert :P

I might still go for a 02/03. if I find and buy a suitable car I will let you know asap.

thanks Paul.

Not sure about the face lift, will find out but the reason were not doing 04 on wards atm is emission testing requirements changed and it got more expensive to test.

yeah fair enough, it makes sense. I think it is 04 when they had the facelight, new lights and front bar and the interior changed a little too with different recaro's etc.

That's correct, they are a goer now.

ta!

looks like I need to snatch one for a few more days.

was it heath that cleared it?

remember them saying they had to smash glass on one.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
