Please put me down, I will drop da cash in SAU account tomorrow AM & fill out paperwork on the morning of trackday if OK ( cant open linky thing ). Have spoken to Nick about putting me down for attendance aswell, dieing to try out the 31 on the track :( .

Hope to see you all there ;) .

Regards Jason. :P

while we always want to sort out payments before the day to make organising on the day easier....but in this case we are still well short and will accept payments on the day. Please don't make payments by EFT after 6pm today as they will probably not be received in our account by sunday - and we can't let you on the track without confirming payment.

NO don't do it,,,bring cash on the day!!!!.

Neil.

i have a mate with an s15 that wants to tag along i take it its sweet if he pays on the day?

yep...just come and sort it out at scruitineering

Duncan can I pay you in cash? Lol

yep cash is the only option from now....we can't accept entry by xfer this late because the funds wont clear to our bank account

And also, helmet hire options?

best idea by far is to buy something. AFAIK oran park dont hire them out but even if they do, they will be crappy, old, smelly etc. they are pretty cheap to buy a basic one, or if you are stuck post up in here and see if someone has a spare you can borrow for the day

Swaybars, braided brake lines, race pads and semi slicks all going on the car tomorrow :)

Cant wait! Better not rain!

you're going to love the difference the sway bars and semis make....that car of yours should be really moving by now.

I think Neil already said.....too late for EFT, bring cash on sunday

you driving steveo?

if so, I'll race you to be the first to break down lol

lol, nope

You bringing your GTR out to play Steveo?

Not this time, ill be there watching :(

okay... the V will be in for the day group 5

cya there...

bishes (only the cars that will be faster than me are the bishes, so that means most of you)

just read the scrutineering regs, so we don't have to have battery location stickers and such? my spare tyre is secured by a fastener so i'm guessing this will be okay to leave in?

PJ,,,correct mate no stickers. If I were you I wouldn't leave the spare wheel/jack ect in the car,,thats just added weight and asking for trouble.

Neil.

Well everybody It's OFFICAL.

We are having one last run on this most fantastic track,,,if you think oh,,,it's only the short track,,,think again,,,turn one and the setting up of 2 and 3 will put a massive smile on your dial when you get it right.

Please have a good read of the Sup Regs,,,they will tell you almost everything you need to know. Wondering why I did it this way with a pdf file,,,easy. This is how it's done when you start racing and I'm sort of hoping SAU will find a young driver that can go on to bigger and better things.

Trackwise are running the day,,,so that means we have Garry Baxter,,,he's currently a front running V8 ute driver and his team of professonal driver trainers will be in attendance. While we have some great drivers within our ranks,,,we are actually paying these guys,,,so work them HARD. Someone should have them in their car every session ALL day. Thats not to say you don't have the SAU boys,,our ranks include successful circuit racers/supersprinters/hillclimbers/maybe even a DA drifter and some of us that have been doing this stuff for years.

This day is for everybody,,,from the most track hardy to girls or guys that just want to have some fun on a race track.

Please up-load these and if you have any questions,,,post them or PM me.

Neil.

Hi just wondering if there's any spots left

So... helmet hire available on the day? We can pay on the day? I'm planning on paying cash

Best bet is to BUY a helmet - they can be had for around $100 (sometimes less for an open-face one) and at least you KNOW that it is new, safe, will fit you, and is yours to keep and use again when you next need it for drift/drags/track days, etc.

Hi just wondering if there's any spots left
Yes there are! ;)
Cool I guess payment will be cash on the day..... do you know what time it starts? :(

You HAVE to be there by at least 8am so your car can be scruitineered for safety.

REMEMBER, PEOPLE, DAYLIGHT SAVING STARTS SUNDAY MORNING, SO SET YOUR CLOCK FORWARD BEFORE YOU GO TO BED SO YOU CAN WAKE UP ON TIME AND NOT AN HOUR LATE!!!

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
