average speed was above 130 and got booked at 137 at roma ( damn it).

highest speed was bout 150 on the highway the other side of mt isa!

lol that's faster than you went at the Maryborough sprints... (or any of us for that matter!) Weren't you heading up that way only a couple of months ago when you dropped into wheels on wide bay for a look this year?

P.S. what's with you not getting a drive yet Russ??!

lolol , well sorry Russ but seems I'm now Johnny on the spot  .... not my fault you moved up there! :D

You were damn lucky not to get the fine for 140 mate, instant loss of licence! Did the big 'cruiser get up without needing 5 litres of oil topped up? lol

come on troy. do the bathurst sprint. it's probably the same dough as 2 days at spa. but it's BYO car!!! and some might argue bathurst is as good as spa. well for an aussie it's as close as we get!

well with some cash coming my way I might be tempted to do spa with you big boy... ;) would have to take the gf too, but she can go looking at waffles or whatever else they have in belgium on those days.

I can very happily confirm I drove the thing yesterday and the mirror is solid as a rock now ;)

I came out late and did not get to see your run mate but I heard that you went into the 53 :P

You know you gotta give more feedback about the drive than just a short blurb on the mirror you know :P

And you didn't come say hi?!?!

Mid 54's actually, but in my defence I'd never driven that track layout before, or the car obviously, quite a bit to learn in six laps :O

The car is amazing, Mark said my eyes were like dinner plates when I stepped out, it's such a sweet little handler, but the standout for me would have to be the gearbox, wayyyyy cool that is!

Oh, and having all wheels spinning in 5th gear at the bump between turn 1 and 2 is pretty funky :)

Yeah we discussed it getting a passenger seat yesterday, will be difficult due to the muffler box but we'll try. Other peeps neeeeed to experience this car!

And funnily enough, I'm the only person other than Mark to have driven it..... the back of my throat is bruised. haha :)

OMG! You got to drive that ;):O:O You get to do everything your my hero! :):P A passenger seat is a must! If there is a will there is a way..Getting a hot lap in that would top my ride in a radical I reckon :O

*I really need to read the above posts" LOL

Sure, its a nice car. But you cant tell me you didnt jump from it just itching to get behind the wheel of an RB20 powered BOHEMOTH GTSt ! :)

haha I might be joining this RB20 clan shortly! They better be all you guys crack them up to be....

P.s Roy your car is a personal favourite of mine..Loved it on song at DECA!

Mate, with eyes that large even girl would stay away from ya :P

Seriously, I got out there quite late and a lot of people went home aldready. Briefly spoke to Mark and did not know that you were out there until I talked to Dazmo in the evening.

That is an awesome time for first time on that track and in the car. Hope you get some more practice with it ;)

    • Ok I get you. But isn’t the butterfly intake a headache with the +T?  see this is my plan so far but please advise me into the right direction.  Nistune Ecu, 1000cc Bosch injectors, TD05 or TD06 Kinugawa turbo using stock rb25det exhuast manifold, walbro fuel pump unsure of model I think it’s 450/460, spitfire coils and sparks to suit and a R35 MAF sensor and boost sensor.    I was thinking maybe do a cheap eBay plenum $400-500 or try find a stock det neo intake. I think I’d port match it so it’s getting the full capacity but open to advice please.  Thanks
    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG has not responded to my emails so far since purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
