Next year im planning on getting a r34 gts-t and putting gtr parts onto it

GTR kit, wing and maybe some nice gunmetal or bronze CR KAI's

and maybe get the screen housing from a gtr somewhere and just replace it with a touchscreen

would i be looked upon as a poser??

i like the look of GTR's and the power but the $$$$$ sets me right off :)

whats your opinion on this subject?

ohh and do R34 GTR's have wider side fenders? compared to normal gts's?

:(

Anyone with half an eye for GTR's will see right through your attempt to copy one.

And Yes they do have wider front and rear guards......Good luck trying to swap them over..

Haha, you are funny.

It would cost a lot more than a real 34 GTR. And it would not be an R35 wagon.

As for a mock 34 GTR that is also a shit idea. GTR's are about the drive.. if you can't afford the real thing then don't bother.

You'd probably end up spending as much on a gtt anyway, once you finish your cosmetic mods (which wouldn't be perfect), then realise that the car isn't fast enough, so you'd spend more money on that. Just save for a gtr. Or buy an older one.

R34 GT-t's are great cars in their own right. Just buy one of those and enjoy it for what it is.

Who are you building this so far fictional car for?

Why ask for opinions on cosmetics from the peanut gallery.........you'll be the one driving and paying for it.

Build it to your own taste, then it will be your car. As long as you like it who cares what the "vogue" crowd think.

agreed - just be patient mate, save up the extra cash and get a real gtr :P

or snap up an r32 or r33 gtr, enjoy it, learn to drive it, and then when you are ready and have the extra cash - upgrade :D

+1 id have no issue driving a gtt as a daily or weekend car.

basic tuning, remove the wing, with the nismo bodykit and your home with a set of nice wheels

The only thing that annoys me more is when people put 'rival' badges on their cars...

The one that gets me more then anything is here in the shire an old Camry gets around with a GTR badge!!

Like come on!!!!

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
