Ive done quite a few long rears on cars and If i was looking to buy that particular car to repair it i wouldnt be prepared to pay more than 50k for it.....not to sure on what a long rear would be worth with rear suspension ect in it but if had to telly up my labour figure for stripping/unpicking the joins rewelding it,repaint and assemble and id say around 20k.....a long rear is most definatly the best/safest and most unnoticible repair for that car.....

true, but if it was me would buy it to swap numbers accross from my cheap grey import (cheap with race only reg just missed a grade 5 one at auction for 5,635,000 yen) and have nearly a complete spare car for parts..... and a fully road registered grey import.. if i was so inclined

thats a rediculus price , unless there is someone that needs the parts for it, but other than gearboxes not many people need parts , and its not smart trying to part out a brand new car when only a couple of 100 people have the car

yep - I'd say most likely the car will be re-incarnated (pun intended too) from a grey import, and spares from the wreck will be retained or sold off....
